Laura was most enjoyable to work with throughout the remodeling process of two bathrooms in my condo. She was attentive and listened to the few concerns I had that were quickly addressed. She was a very hands on project manager and I appreciated her knowledge and experience. The end results were stunning, I have had many compliments from neighbors and friends. I would most definitely use her services again in the future.

The finished ensuite bathroom that Laura ZB designed, and project-managed for us was exquisite. Her design was beautiful and flexible. We appreciated Laura’s efforts to help us select materials such as slate flooring, tiles, light fixtures, cabinets, and plumbing fixtures. We really appreciated her expertise and vision in identifying complementary and functional materials. As the project manager, Laura ordered the correct amount of materials that minimized waste and costs, which was very important to us. Her experience was invaluable. The design was functional and innovative and incorporated design elements that we would never have considered. Laura was also instrumental in working with our contractor and subcontractors to effectively oversee their work and be our advocate to ensure that the project was done perfectly, even if they needed to redo already completed work. A key feature was the stone tub, which Laura was able to find a model that fit the space. It’s a beautiful tub and a key element of the bathroom design. Laura was amazing to work with, and we would recommend her without hesitation.

Laura has supported me on several design projects. All of which resulted in gorgeous and functional outcomes. She helped me select, completed the measurement and managed the install of custom woven grass shades throughout my home. They've added elegance, protection from the sunlight and room darkening for the bedrooms. She also helped design and select material for custom fireplace surround cushions and pillows. Most recently Laura was the designer and general contractor for a partial renovation of both the primary and guest bathrooms in my home. I love the result! She's patient, has excellent taste and a multitude of resources to help you decide on something you'll love. She helps you consider the alternatives, taking into account your style and use trends. I couldn't recommend Laura more highly!!

Laura has been wonderful to work with on our second floor addition project. She helped my husband and I go through every possible design for our family. She came up with multiple options and worked with us multiple times to finesse it to meet the individual needs of all. She took me through all the designer tile/granite shops to help me come up with a Color palate. I know Laura is there when I need her expertise. Laura is great at providing personal service. She will come to your house and meet you at places to make sure everything is right. We were very happy with the final design. Highly recommend!

Laura did an amazing job as a designer and as a contractor for my kitchen, living room and bathroom project. The design was great as was the execution of her contractors. What impressed me the most was her follow up after the project had been completed to see that everything had been completed to my satisfaction.

Laura comes from a design background and that’s why we chose her from among the bidding contractors, plus the fact that she was also the most organized. And very professional. There was extra bureaucracy involved, because the VA was funding the major share of the renovation. Her organizational skills were evident in how she coordinated us, the VA, and the workers. She hired excellent subcontractors for plumbing, electricity, cement work, deck construction, tile work, wood flooring, carpentry, and painting. Ours was a large job, over $90,000 for converting a condo to totally accessible living. All doorways were widened to 3 feet wide. 2 bedroom and living/dining room carpets were replaced by oak hardwood. (Kitchen and hallways were already oak.) The new flooring was fed seamlessly into the old. The old master bath was converted into a beautifully tiled accessible wet room by adding space from two closets. Laura’s design background shone with her choice of tile and her adding interest through bands of smaller tiles of the same color and texture and changing the direction of the tiles from the sink and toilet area to the shower. She was brilliant at suggesting colors for the walls throughout. She kept to the budget. She informed us of the costs of any changes we were considering. The result was beautiful. And after a few months of living in the renovated condo, we can fully attest to her excellent work. No, we are not related to Laura, she’s just that good!

My husband and I did a complete kitchen remodel. Laura was fantastic to work with. She really listened to understand our style and needs, and presented some great design options, as well as ideas for how to best utilize the available space. The tradespeople she brought in to do the work did a high quality job. Her careful attention during the project ensured that the job was done on schedule and within budget. The kitchen came out beautiful!

Laura is the ultimate professional, with an eye for detail and functionality. When taking on the design of my full kitchen remodel, she was a partner in understanding my needs and seeing the end result. Her attention and perspective was not forced, but offered in a consultative approach. The final product is more than I had imagined, was affordable and well managed and she is great at knowing the local products and trades. I would highly recommend Laura and hope to work with her again on future projects.

We had Laura do the design for the back splash in our newly remodeled kitchen, and she did an amazing job! The colors and tile she choose were very beautiful! We are very happy and love our finished kitchen.

I recently worked with Laura Zamuda from Laura ZB Design. I wanted help updating my living room after a decade of the same, very tired look. I met Laura at the Seattle Home Show, was impressed and scheduled a time for her to visit and meet with my husband and I . She provided ideas on color, furniture pieces, drapery, rugs and accessories to create a cohesive look that would work with our home and our family's lifestyle. We spent an afternoon shopping together for ideas that would give our living room a polished updated look. It was both fun and inspirational. I purchased new drapery, and area rug and then used advice received from Laura on our shopping trip, to purchase new furniture. The room came together nicely and we are very pleased with end result.
