SEM Interiors

Recently received my AAS in Interior Design from El Centro and, in addition to working with a professional mentor, I am looking to start my own design business. I have an outstanding network of vendors and contractors, which means if you can dream it, I know the perfect person to do it! For those that have never hired an Interior Designer, let me explain why it is a good idea and how the process works. When a person moves into a new a new space or wishes to change the space they are in, the goal is to combine a lot of small elements in such a way that it envokes a positive feeling. We all want to walk into a home that makes us feel relaxed and comfortable. We all want a home that serves every function of our families and looks great doing it! Loving where you live improves every aspect of our lives. However, with work and family, it is difficult for us to find time to seek out all of those small elements and it is tough to know just how to put them together for the optimal effect. That is where an Interior Designer comes in! You call me and I will answer, we set up a meeting for us to get to know each other a little, explore your space and get some idea of what you would like to achieve. I will outline basic ways to improve the space (contracting/ maintenance work) and then get into color and style. I will take your ideas to my vendors and put together a catalog of products for you to choose from. It is preferred that you see furniture and building materials in person before you purchase them, as many sales are final. After we decide on materials, I will begin the project.
