Paul’s work is just beautiful. Both the apartment in New York City and the house out East have a feeling of serenity and coziness while still feeling elevated and timeless. He’s been patient with us, while walking us through the process, he’s organized and responsive. One of my favorite things about the way he designs spaces is that no two are the same - from the color palette to the furnishings to the mood and lighting, each feels like a new and exciting experience to enjoy.

Paul De Andrade from Studio Kestrel reached out to us regarding a new client of his. We are a General Contractor, reviewed the drawings and knew not just from the drawings but from our conversations this was going to be a great collaboration. From the start of the project to any changes to meeting the clients needs along with all the finishing touches,everything went seamless. No questions, calls or emails went unnoticed and were met with immediate answers. Paul is a very passionate and talented designer. I felt I was in very capable hands and he made the experience of decorating a painless and enjoyable experience. He transformed my dated condo into a contemporary timeless dream home.

I was raised in frugal and humble environment, always thinking about the design as something luxurious and optional. I was happy with my space ( at least I thought so at the time). I was not "shopping for a designer" or pursuing any specific type of change but Paul walked into my life and I was open to Paul’s suggestions.... One thing lead to another and I was amazed how slowly but surely my apartment completely transformed. I am really impressed how playing with various sources of light and reflective surfaces such as mirrors can make the space so much more bright, open warm and welcoming. What used to be somewhat cluttered apartment became a space with a natural flow of design and functionality from dining and living space to the kitchen and bedroom. I have this feeling like I am living in one of those architectural magazine featured designer homes and not the very same space I used to live in just a few months ago. At the same time it is personal and it is mine and it is in line what I need to make me feel comfortable. As much as I was content with my home the way it used to be I was not realizing the true potential of the space. I also find myself especially proud of my home and I am much more eager to invite people over. It became a refuge, a space that makes me feel good and that influences my mood in a positive way. Initially I just wanted to improve a few details but after learning about so many ways your home can be improved I decided to go all the way, follow all suggestions and almost everything got changed. I don't think I will ever look back or ever live the same way I used to live before this experience. I will never again approach any space for what it is but for what it can become and I am sure Paul will be able to help me with that again and again and again.

Paul designed our home in Manhattan as well as our home in Santa Monica. The work he has done for us is beyond stunning - everyone who walks in the door is just blown away. We couldn’t be happier and it’s hard to leave home each day! Paul has also been a delight to work with - fun, hardworking, organized, and communicative. Not only has he helped us make our home beautiful, but each space is so comfortable and functional that we spend time in almost every room throughout the day - which has been wonderful with all the time spent at home these past few years. Overall it has been a fantastic experience working with Paul, and I can’t wait for the next project to see what we create together.

Paul De Andrade of Studio Kestrel is a hidden gem in the world of interior design. I started working with Paul in 2015 on a luxury New Development project in New York City and from our first meeting, I knew immediately that I had to work with him because of his creative vision and because of his calm and confident demeanor. This was my first project in New Development, and I needed to impress my client with a standout design for our trophy residence. I was not the only one impressed as this $60M Penthouse apartment sold just one month after he brought the space to life. After this project, Paul and I worked together on four other buildings, and each time, he continues to impress me with his taste but also his intuition. Time and time again, Paul brings a client's vision to life - even when the client isn't totally sure what their style is yet. He makes the design process fun, exciting and so seamless, which is rare in a world of logistics, furniture delays, and COIs. One of my favorite things about witnessing Paul’s work is his ability to create a space that is inviting and comfortable but also sleek and stylish. No two homes that Paul creates are alike - he is incredibly versatile, creative, and passionate about interior design. After working with Paul for seven years, I asked if he could design my personal apartment, and I could not be more thrilled with the finished result! I was moving in with my significant other and Paul, being the seasoned designer that he is, knew that an initial, in-person meeting with all three of us would be key in combining our lives. Paul walked both of our apartments to get a sense of what we liked and to see what pieces we could incorporate into our new home. He helped us establish our personal style and as a bonus – there were no fights between my partner and me! Paul and his team are absolutely incredible. They brought an incredible vision to life in a new development lease-up.
