I have worked with Teri on and off for over two years now making my apartment perfect. She is flexible and happy to go at your pace, designing a room or two at a time or putting together a whole apartment. She is flexible, creative, and practical. She picked up on my style quickly and found me beautiful pieces that worked with my budget. She coordinated with my building to make the shipping & delivery process convenient. Teri is an absolute pleasure to work with. She has the taste and talent of any top design professional but without the attitude or snobbery characteristic of previous designers I’ve worked with. I hired Teri to work for me on two distinct projects: a chic modern NYC apartment and a rustic country cottage. On both occasions, Teri helped me create a living space that reflects my style and personality and is functional and comfortable. Teri excels at working with contractors and keeping projects moving forward on schedule. Her many years of experience in the field enable her to work efficiently and economically. She has a vast catalogue of artisans — many local and sustainable — who offer one-of-a-kind furnishings and accessories which guarantees that your home will be as individual as you are. Teri is a great collaborator: she listens to what you envision and at the same time gently encourages you to be a little bolder, for example by using a color you hadn’t thought of or adding an accessory that becomes an exciting focal point. What can I say other than to deliver the highest of recommendations? During the pandemic, I met Teri to chat about some ideas I had. By the end of it, we setup a full plan, involving: - A refinish of the floors - A takedown of a wall - A new window - New lighting installation, and electric work done throughout the apartment - A full painting of the apartment - Channeled light fixtures and custom fixtures - Commissioned artwork - New furniture, mostly to order / to spec and with custom textiles - A full re-do of the bathroom, replacing tiling, plumbing, toilet, the tub for a modern shower, the walls, etc. - Installation of a washer/dryer and associated plumbing - "New" vintage imported rugs - Channeling cabling through the walls - and so so so so so much more. Teri made the entire process easy, was transparent every step of the way, highly communicative, and knocked it out of the park. She has a wealth of expertise, and you can really tell. She knows what she's talking about, and she loves her craft. And, I made a great friend because of it.

We have worked with Teri for a number of years, touching every room in our apartment. The latest project was to refresh our kitchen. Teri has a wonderful sense of color and comes up with creative solutions for awkward spaces. We now have a lovely marble topped window sill where there was none.

My experience with Teri was great. She had a good sense of what I would like, spent time finding the perfect pieces and was willing to revisit an idea if I changed my mind. I hired her to design my living room and I ended up with a fantastic space. I have had many compliments since.

Teri did a small urban project for me a few summers ago once I had the "empty nest," turning my daughters' bedrooms into an office for me and a lovely guest room. She was able to combine function and utility with comfort and style....and all staying in my budget! A few years later, and I still love walking into these rooms (and with remote work due to this pandemic, all I can say is thank god I have this office.) Teri is also a pleasure to work with. We had a wonderful experience working with Teri Brajewski and TWB on our apartment. We'd never worked with a designer before, and we'd never renovated either, so it was a big step. But our kids were getting bigger, and our apartment wasn't. We needed to reconfigure our home for the next phase of life, and we had a longing to have, as Teri said, a "grown-up" apartment at last. From the beginning, we knew we'd made the right choice in Teri. She had a wonderful way of evoking our taste and then guiding it, getting us to venture into new zones but never imposing her taste on ours. Her two and a half decades of knowledge of products and designers led us to furnishings we'd never have found on our own and that don't look like anyone else's. We are particularly grateful to her for the color palette she developed for us, allowing us at last to venture beyond white walls; everyone who comes into our apartment comments on it. The result is a home that we take pleasure in inhabiting every day, and that feels true to our tastes and organic to the way we live, and at the same time fresh and interesting. Teri's expertise is unquestionably the most important investment we made in the whole process.

Teri has helped me set up an entirely new home with her wise and tasteful advice, and some hand-holding to help me pull the trigger on important purchases. She has decades of experience and was especially helpful arranging space in a smaller NYC apartment. She also referred me to suppliers that I never would have found on my own for custom-made furniture, wall coverings, and window treatments. My place looks stellar and I owe a debt of gratitude to Teri!

When we were moving from our small city apartment to our first home in CT, I knew Teri was the one I needed to help with interior design. Teri thoughtfully planned six areas in our unique 1970's modern design home. She understood our need for kid-friendly and livable while keeping with our desire of a bohemian/modern design aesthetic that highlighted the uniqueness of the home. Teri sourced incredibly beautiful pieces within our budget that we get compliments on all the time! She is thoughtful and patient and works in balance with her clients desires and her own expertise. Teri is a gem and I would highly recommend her for any design project in your home.

I had never worked with a designer before and didn't know what to expect. I absolutely loved working with Teri. Took my input seriously, but also gently saved me from mistakes. She also nudged me to buy quality items that took a little while to arrive, but were absolutely worth the wait. Many of the fabrics and items were ones I never would have looked at on my own -- she made me brave and it all paid off! Teri was professional, communicative and fun to work with.
