I’m retiring from Residential Construction after 22 years and one of the best Kitchen and home designers I had the pleasure of working with is Paula Kennedy. I will definitely miss completing her designs and sharing in the transformation of our clients houses into timeless homes! -Raymond

Paula's design skills are fabulous! She took our old outdated kitchen and family room and turned it into a classy and more modernized living space. We are so happy with her work and that she was willing to work with us here in Portland. We will be working with Paula again in the near future to design and remodel our master bathroom.

Working with Paula was a dream. She was so easy to work with. She listens and communicates well. She listened to my wants and ideas. Made them better with her suggestions. I would work with her again in a heartbeat. She helped me not only with my kitchen but with all three bathrooms and the rest of the house.

Paula is a friendly classy person to work with. .I love my new kitchen.and laundry room.. Paula has impeccable taste. I give her 5 stars for the beautiful design. On the.first day of construction, the design wasn't complete to the satisfaction of the contractor.. They put her under a great deal of stress and a few errors were made. Although she was working with a new team. The team treated her with little or no respect and pretty much threw her under the bus from the first day which made the process difficult for everyone involved. Paula corrected the errors at her expense. I was truly impressed. with her attitude and accountability. She held her head high throughout the entire stressful project. Overall, despite the horrible construction process, I absolutely LOVE the outcome of my dream kitchen. I believe you will love working with Paula Kennedy. She will design a beautiful happy space:-)

I have known Paula personally for 8 years and over the course of that time I got to know her work ethic, her design ability and her wonderful creative natural sense in her personal life and career. She lives what she designs which is what brought me to call her when we decided to do a bathroom remodel. She was responsive, met with us several times to go over plans, design ideas & materials. She helped us with some ideas outside of what we were thinking that we ended up choosing and we are so glad that we did. Our bathroom is fabulous. The river rock floor & shower niche gets so many compliments and our cabinet fits so nicely with everything. It's nice to work with someone who has the integrity that Paula does. I highly recommend working with Paula!!!

Paula has an impressive portfolio and her follow through to my inquiry for a small bath remodel was prompt and courteous. She suggested two different options for my consideration. She recommended that I work with a design associate at a local Big Box store to get an idea of available materials.

We hired Paula to lay out a design for our new kitchen. She was a pleasure to work with - very professional, great ideas, held to her time estimates, and was very flexible to meet our needs. Was very responsive and helped us get to decisions instead of lingering and over-analyzing everything. Would definitely recommend her to others.

I have contracted Paula twice for design consultations and both times have been incredibly helpful. The first in 2012 was for a condo with specific lighting, flow, and privacy issues. She walked me through some of the basics of interior design and had great ideas beyond that. In particular, details that I would not have thought about regarding orienting the bedroom for subtle comfort issues that made a far larger impact than expected. She also accompanied me on a shopping trip to help decorate. The second, just a few weeks ago, was for my new home. As my wife and I have a child on the way and the home is an unusual layout with hardwoods, tile, and carpet we put her to the test. She did a great job working with the furniture that we currently had and suggesting minor additions that will complement our existing furniture for greater flexibility for entertaining friends and family (14 people is a common gathering) while easily returning to an intimate cozy home. We may yet contact her for another consult and/or shopping trip once we settle in a little better.

Paula Kennedy, CMKBD, Timeless Design is a pleasure to work with. She has helped me with displays for my clients as well as guided me through my own remodel of my master bathroom. We gutted the master, replacing the shower with new fixtures, tiles and a leakproof system, all with keeping the integrity of the style of my mid century home and not disturbing the surrounding elements such as wall paper, flooring and paint. We are in the final stage of a major house remodel that started in May 2013 (although the planning began in December 2012). It involved adding a second story, completely designing two new floors, and remodeling a basement. Paula was hired to manage the entire design process for us. We choose her for lots of reasons, but primarily because she is a very knowledgable, positive person who really understood our style and helped us bring it to life in a timely, organized fashion. Because of her experience and network of contacts, she also helped helped us find a wonderful general contractor and architect that fit us and our project. Paula strikes a nice balance between creativity and business sense. She worked closely with our architect to ensure a thoughtful and functional design in the initial phase. She also helped us put together a reasonable, detailed budget for our bank loan and helped us stick to it during implementation. Along the way, there were so many details and decisions to be made and she helped us understand the scope up front and stay on track without getting overwhelmed. Because of her extensive experience, she also greatly simplified everything for us by narrowing our design and material choices and working directly with our contractor on the implementation throughout the project. She partnered with high quality and knowledgeable suppliers for our plumbing, cabinetry, tile, countertops, appliances, etc. and was priceless in terms of helping us navigate our choices in the context of our budget and overall design concept. Our kitchen and main floor, in particular, are just amazing and I have a walk in closet I always dreamed of. I would recommend Paula without hesitation for both small and large projects. She is absolutely fantastic and so wonderful to work with. When we started, many people told us horror stories about their remodels. I have to say, though, that we had a great experience and I know it was because of Paula and the rest of her colleagues.
