Alexander and his team (Dimitri and Majid) did an amazing job of assembling and installing my Ikea cabinets. Initially, I wavered back and forth about installing them myself. I watched tons of YouTube video's on how to do it and figured I could do it too. However, I have also seen expensive kitchen's that were not professionally installed, and they looked shoddy in the end. It is all in the fine details. One small mistake made in the beginning can have a huge ripple effect that ruins it all in the end effect. Ikea recommended Traemond to install the kitchen. I waited for 8 days for them to quote the job. They followed up with a phone call to confirm a few things and to tell me about all the potential extra expenses I might incur. Their installation price was just a little under a thousand dollars less than the actual price of the cabinets! That did not sit well with me. Instead, I hit google and found a number of other installers. Reviews are very important to me, as are photo galleries of completed work. After much research, I was most impressed by the combination of these things when reviewing "Kitchen Installations" website. Alexander was responsive and quick to get back to me with a quote after a phone conversation clarifying different aspects. It was very clear he had much experience with his questions and knew the types of things that could present a challenge. He spent quite a bit of time with me on the phone and by email, he even sent me new modified drawings with a suggestion for my desk area. I was happy with his quote and we scheduled the installation. His team started and finished when they said they would. Dimitri and Majid (very nice guys, accomodating and skilled) had obviously installed many kitchens before and were very efficient and professional. They involved me in decision-making points, which I very much appreciated. They had great ideas and solutions to offer. The end result was magnificent. I couldn't be happier! I thank each of you, for your efforts in giving me my dream kitchen! You are an awesome team and I will highly recommend you to my friends and family!!

We did a complete renovation of a townhome in Thornhill last summer. Alexander came out to measure the kitchen and helped with some key design aspects that we had overlooked. Like having the microwave below the counter , allowing enough room between the island and the dining area to allow easy walk-through room. His installers were early for every appointment and the work was meticulous, they even cleaned up perfectly. We are using Alex on our next project as well and have recommended him to other people too.

After reading the comments on HomeStars I decided to go with Alexander to build and install my Ikea kitchen cabinets. The installation more than exceeds my expectations and the rating I have awarded does not do Alexander and his team justice. Price, service, reliability and quality of workmanship were second to none. You would have to look far and wide to find a better installer than Alexander and his team!

Alex was amazing! He was prompt, timely, came prepared and the attention to detail was great - he took great care to finish off the fillers on the side and created a detailed cut to match the baseboards). The final product is seamless and we couldn't be more thrilled.

From the day I walked into the IKEA showrooms, sought advice on how to design my kitchen, received expert advice from the numerous qualified staff, to the day I decided to make my final selection and purchase , I felt IKEA fullfilled all of my needs and affordability. My new remodelled kitchen looks absolutely spectacular and I am proud to tell my friends that the ideas originated from Houzz and majority of materials from IKEA.

Hiring Alex for my kitchen installation was one of the best decisions I have made. He did a fantastic job! Professional and efficient service at a very reasonable price. He did a lot custom cuts for me which were included in this price, unlike many other installers who change extra for custom cuts. He pays attention to details and is very pleasant to work with. There was a challenge to install false door fronts around the island, because ikea had run out of stock for the large cover panel that is required to mount the doors, Alex tackled it beautifully, his solution was very smart and he made the finish look even better! Yesterday the counter-top contractor came to measure and template, he said to me that Alex did a very nice job on the kitchen installation. I'm now so proud of my kitchen and thanks so much to Alex for his excellent service!
