Cheng Design

It has been a little over a decade since we moved into our custom-built home in the Shenandoah Valley of Amador County. Recently, I felt compelled to return to Berkeley to thank Fu-Tung Cheng personally, and his collaborative team, for their work on our residence. Cheng Design provided meticulous attention to every detail, superb craftsmanship and timeless style. Without fail, every time that we have guests, they remark favorably upon the design of our house: the subtle color scheme, the bamboo cabinetry, the black granite island and the Cheng concrete counter tops and fireplace. We are ever so grateful and delighted to have contracted with them.

Fu Tung Cheng is the most creative and caring designer/ architect I have met or worked with. He cares about each detail and nuance of each tile and piece of flooring and the art of the overall project. He is straight up creative and can design anything on a piece of paper or a napkin. I am honored to work on projects with Cheng Designs and would recommend them to anyone.
