We were looking to replace an existing Tiki Bar structure and to build an actual outdoor kitchen in a very challenging space (because of how the pool was situated). Our neighbor utilized Ron and his company a few years prior for a home renovation project adding 1,000-1,500 sq feet in additional space. We loved the work and once we knew Ron did outdoor kitchens also, we were sold. If you 1) want it done right and 2) want it to look like it was part of the original footprint - go with Ron and Fred Parker Company. If you want it to look like an add-on, select someone else, Ron isn't for you. He and his team take great pride in your project. I can't imagine going with anyone else other than Ron; the professionalism is second to none. Our only complaint, we didn't do the project sooner!!!

The Fred Parker Company built our beautiful new home in 2004. The family owned company oversaw all of the architectural design, construction and interior design. Over the years Ron and Lila Parker have helped us with numerous projects and additions to keep our home beautiful and updated. During the renovations, Lila as our designer has help us select new paint colors, flooring, fabrics and art work. We have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Fred Parker Company.

Fred Parker Company has worked on our home for several projects. We are a very loyal customer of Fred Parker Company due to the attention to detail, great craftmanship, communication and understanding from Ron, Lila and the whole team. The current project was as a result of the freeze in February where we had damage throughout our whole first floor of our home. Although not usually doing insurance work, Ron helping us during this stressful time attests to the lengths the company will go to take care of their clients. The scope of the work was substantial and included everything they excel at such as new floors, woodwork, plumbing, electrical, drywall, and painting. We were back in our beautiful home in no time and on schedule. But more than excelling at the business aspects of the remodel, the compassion and encouragement from all the members of the team embodies the spirit of how Fred Parker Company has built an impeccable reputation over the years. Ron Parker and his team completed a full remodel of our home - new paint and flooring, remodel of two bathrooms, removed pop corn ceiling, built-ins added to study and cabinet/tile updates in the kitchen. The work was exceptional and the attention to detail was appreciated. We had a tight time line to get the work completed. Ron met the deadline and was within the budget. Lila Parker was also a great resource in selecting the different materials used in the remodel, as well as assisting in the interior design of our home. We wanted to add an outdoor kitchen to our existing patio at the same time we converted a barn behind our home to a guesthouse/pool cabana house. We wanted to choose a design build firm to keep everything organized and efficient. It was overwhelming trying to get started but when I called Fred Parker company they got back immediately. Ron takes great pride in his family business and work. He also services homes he works on which was really classy and showed great customer service. This stood out as something most contractors would never provide in today’s day in age. Our project required three meetings with our local city council to change our zoning in order to even get our permits to renovate our barn. Ron gave an excellent, professional presentation with pictures and plans at our city council meeting and this helped get our project passed through the process. The before and after pictures of our barn are truly amazing. There was hay on the second floor from previous chickens. My vision for our barn was rustic-luxe and I think with his and Lila’s great eye we definitely accomplished that! Lila Parker, Ron’s wife, is an interior designer and great help with knowing the best sources for all of the selections made. We even got to hand pick some of the hides we used for ottomans and bar stools, a memory I will never forget! I love to decorate myself, but I really appreciated Lila’s great help and opinions and recommendations while making selections! One thing that really stood out to me, is each crew that came out with our projects were the best of the best! Ron is very particular about what companies he uses. From the framers, drywall and texture, electricians, painters, stone masons, and granite/countertop professionals, AC company . . . each trade used were so talented. The stone masons are truly artisans forming and chipping away each piece of stone to perfection! The beams are perfect, the level of craftsmanship is truly exquisite! We are so happy with the huge, beautiful transformation of our barn. It is really an extension of our home and we have enjoyed it so much! It is an amazing space for entertaining and enjoying family time! Huge thanks to Ron and Lila and huge list of skilled, professional hard workers that brought our dreams to reality. Every time I see it from our home or walk out and enjoy the space it makes me so happy! It is truly a blessing to me and our family!!! At the same time the barn was renovated we also did an outdoor kitchen. We added onto our existing patio and Ron did an amazing job with the roofline and tongue and groove ceiling keeping it seamless and looking like it was always a part of our home and not an addition. Everything done is very custom and each detail very thought- out. We did a huge stone pizza oven, used our current dcs gas grill, an xl primo smoker, a small refrigerator, blanco sink, trash door and lots of storage spaces. We used beautiful leathered granite countertops. We have great seating space for entertaining while grilling and having pool parties. We are truly thankful to Ron and Lila and all of the teams for their wonderful hard work! They made the dream of these spaces a beautiful reality! The workmen were all professional with respect to how they worked and the skill they demonstrated. It was clear that everyone on the job had a respectful relationship with Fred Parker & Company. For those of us who have gone through the remodel process before, we greatly appreciate the value of this. Lila Parker was also a highly-valued resource. Lila has an extraordinary eye for design and the patience to work with the ‘less-confident’ homeowner. Given the expense involved, I was apprehensive about some of the design decisions (i.e., countertop, cabinet color and hardware, flooring, etc.). Lila provided many curated options based on images I shared and our discussions. Without a doubt, she made a significant contribution to the outcome. At the completion of the project, we looked at the home in awe and said “wow.” Ron shared the following, “If a client says ‘it looks good,’ ‘nice work,’ - if the response is anything short of amazement - we have not done our job.” With respect to the end result, I believe this captures the essence of what Fred Parker and Company will deliver – a beautiful home beyond your expectations, but one you will enjoy and appreciate for years to come.

When I was looking to do a complete remodel of our lake house, I scoured the reviews on Houzz before choosing three companies to interview. Since the lake house is an hour away from our main home, I knew I wanted a design-build firm to handle all of the details. The combination of outstanding reviews, Houzz awards, and professional affiliations made me confident that Fred Parker Company's reputation was solid. It was my interview with Ron and Lila Parker that made me choose them over the other two contenders. Ron's knowledge of design and construction was evident as he calmly walked through and addressed my wish list of things to update our 1950s era lake home. It had been added on to over the years and was currently stuck in the 1980s. We wanted to open it up to capture the lake views to the best advantage, as well as to accommodate our growing family, including adult children and two young grandchildren. Ron took the time to talk about all of our ideas, explaining creative ways to do things, and also letting me know what was worth doing and what was not. He never tried to suggest a more expensive way of doing things, just the "right" way to do things. Doing things the right way turned out to be the catch-word of our remodel. She and Ron work together as a team with the best interest of the client at the forefront of every decision. Ron Parker, Master Builder, designed the plan and kept the project on budget and on schedule. The crews showed up on time, worked hard and did an excellent job. The patio looks like it was built with the house. As construction goes, we had some adjustments to make but those were handled quickly. They were easy to work with and one of the best. We had an extensive remodeling project involving the master bedroom, bathroom and small adjoining patio. The patio was not really usable as an outdoor space and there had been water issues around the door. With Ron Parker's design, we were able to extend the roof line and incorporate the patio space into a very nice closet. We fully remodeled the bath to make all areas accessible to mobility devices which has proved to be worthwhile following surgery. Coming home for rehab was so very nice. We also added additional cabinets and linen closet in our project to make the space more functional. We are very pleased with our results and certainly recommend Fred Parker company for your renovation needs.

We were new to the area and looking to update our 1968 home. We decided to convert a courtyard in the front of our house to an enclosed room. The relatively small space had very high ceilings, so the design had to make these two divergent elements cohesive. The design worked beautifully. With the addition of a wonderful front door designed by Ron Parker, the room will be a joy to use. Other aspects of the remodeling, such as painting, replacement of windows, electrical, etc. were done with quality and timeliness.

We asked Fred and Ron Parker to remodel a play room for our house when we bought our house. Fred Parker Company has done two projects for us--the latest in 2012. They built an outdoor living area off of the den of our 1971 existing home. It required tricky roof and skylight changes, with a sitting area, built in grill, fire pit and renovation of our pool.. They did wonderful architectural drawings for us. They were always more than willing to make changes as we moved forward. You would never know it was an add-on . Everyone that worked on the project was professional, knowledgable, courteous and thorough. We knew we were in excellent hands. When they left our home, you never knew they had been there. Everything was left neat, clean and the way they found it. We would use them again without a doubt, and recommend them highly to others.

After purchasing a home in the summer of 2015, I decided to do a complete renovation. There really wasn't much that I wanted to change about the exterior of the home but was looking update the interior. I was referred to Ron Parker of Fred Parker Company, Inc. by my realtor. Soon after that we began working on plans for the inside of the home. I had been warned by others of the horrors of taking on such a project! Luckily for me, I had a different experience. Ron and the rest of the crew at Fred Parker Co., Inc. were great to work with. They were extremely professional and worked well to alleviate any concerns that I had along the way. Of course, as the project went on, I continued to add to the list things that I wanted done. I had brought in a decorator and even though she wasn't affiliated with Fred Parker Co., Inc., Ron worked very well with her and went out of his way to communicate with her to make sure that everyone was on the same page. After all was said and done, we had completely renovated the interior of the home and I couldn't be happier with the work that they accomplished. Along with the work on the interior of the home, our project turned into a major landscaping overhaul as well. My project is just about wrapped up now and I couldn't be happier with the work that was done on the home as well as how the landscaping project turned out. Ron, along with the rest of the crew exceeded my expectations.

We remodeled our bathroom and closets in a high rise condo. Our expectations were high since I had worked with Fred Parker before. The expectations were exceeded. Thoughtful attention to design, finishes, and ideas for unique touches, combined with a work crew of the highest caliber resulted in a beautiful project.

I have worked with the Parkers several times, from a total home tear down/rebuild in 2004 and the addition of a guest house in 2013. Their quality of work is second to none. I am probably a difficult client to work with. During the process I asked for many changes in the work which caused delays and "change orders". Ron and Fred were very patient and made sure the work was done to the highest standards. They were always responsive to my requests, and were there inspecting the work from start to completion. They work with only the best subcontractors, and it not an exaggeration to say that they are craftsmen that show pride in their work. If one word would need to be chosen to describe the Parkers, it would be "Integrity".

FPC built a custom home for us in 1996. The house was quality throughout with complete attention to detail. They brought the project in on time and very close to budget. They were a pleasure to work with throughout the project. When it came time to sell the house one of its strongest selling points was that it was a Fred Parker home. It sold the first day on the market. In 2013 we asked FPC to remodel an older patio home that we purchased. Again the project was done with quality and attention to detail. The remodel was beautiful and made the home more livable. We were happy with every aspect of the job.. I would highly recommend FPC for either a new build or remodel. In Texas our soils have issues with movement, which can cause small stress fractures in tile floors. Fred Parker Company implemented installing anti-fracture membrane for all tile and natural stone floors to help prevent future repairs. Fred Parker also implemented using Schluter water proofing system for showers and tubs, which we feel is the very best water proofing system on the market.
