We help our clients customize our floor plans or design there own that fits their lifestyle and budget. Cody Weight, President of Solitude Homes and family man of four kids grew up on the construction site in Utah. At a young age he was introduced to a set of building plans, this early training and understanding of how plans work has helped develop him into a true customer builder today. Cody loves working side by side with his clients to design their dream home and often times from scratch in order to help his clients get exactly what they want for the budget they have. In 2002 he graduated from the University of Utah with his Bachelors Degree and a number of awards as a student athlete. Cody was named team captain for the Utah Utes football team, special teams MVP and received the covenanted “big play leader” award as a corner back. He also excelled in academics graduating with honors. Cody has a passion for service and teaching, and hopes to inspire the youth to believe in them selves and be patient. Each summer he provides a free speed and agility camp for youth as well his yearly volunteer youth leadership roles with in his Church. Cody also finds time to fulfill his duty on the Board of Directors for the Building Contractors Association of South West Idaho.

We had a custom home built by Solitude last year. The project was poorly supervised and the filthiest job site in the entire community with worker's trash everywhere. We caught more mistakes during construction than we can count. The pot filler was mounted just under the hood (way too high!), random back splashes installed on one side of the sinks but not on others, unfinished trim, mismatching grout on stone pillars, and water under the home which we discovered just prior to closing and builder claimed it was unforeseen but now a year later almost everyone is suffering with this issue and it cost us $16,000 to fix! The construction quality was so bad our ceiling fan in the patio simply fell off! (It was secured only with finishing nails per the real contractor who repaired this). We have fought to have our buckling and lifting LVF replaced but have been met with empty promises that it would be replaced but both builder and their vendor refuses any responsibility for this. They are experts at finger pointing. Run do not walk from this builder. I have print outs of every message and convo with this builder so trust me when I say I am not exagerating.

Solitude builds a great home! My wife and I were impressed by small details that were not forgotten. After living in this home for almost 2 years, we find it to be energy efficient and as comfortable as day one, even more so. To us, service after the sale was important. Cody and his team went the distance to be sure we enjoy our home for years to come. In a time where houses are going up everywhere and corners cut, it's important to make the right decision when looking for a new home. Highly recommend Solitude Homes!

What a great experience! Solitude made it easy every step of the way! Parker our Supervisor was fantastic to work with. He kept us informed and communicated with us constantly. Any time we had questions he got right back to us. The entire team made it an easy process along the way. Building from another state seemed daunting but with Solitude, you have access to the entire team. They map things out so the process is seamless. Jared was a big help in the beginning of the process until he handed off to the next person up. Once Parker took over we were never left guessing. He made any change we asked for and follow up with us along the way. Parker went the extra mile all of the time. We worked with one of their landscaping contractors, MilTek and they were amazing as well. If you build with Solitude ask for MilTek when you get to the landscaping. Since moving in we have had people stop to see our home and our landscaping because Solitude made sure we received the best from everyone and have a beautiful home inside and out.

Where do I start. Cody has really changed the course of the building process, he has changed the way you think about building. He has made it so easy to build your dream home from first meeting, listening to your needs and wants and then coming up with a plan that is your final dream home. He makes sure the client has no surprises in the end on price, quality, and process. He has a great staff that help every step of the way from design decisions to final walk thru . Solitude Homes built our home in Eagle Idaho. Cody oversaw the entire project from design to completion. The project was done on time and within budget. We looked at several different builders before choosing to work with Cody at Solitude Homes. Simply put - we absolutely made the right decision! Cody and his team were great to work with in the planning phase and were completely courteous and professional throughout the entire process. A good friend was having all kinds of problems with his builder and after comparing notes on how my project was going - he ended up firing his builder and switching over to Solitude Homes as well. I give my strongest recommendation to Solitude Homes for their honesty, integrity, professionalism; quality of construction, and even the exceptional sub-contractors that they work with. We love our home and have no intention of moving anytime soon, but if we ever do build again, we will not hesitate to give Solitude a call.

We couldn't be happier with Cody and his team at Solitude Homes. After looking at a number of pre-built homes that weren't quite what we wanted, we decided to build. We asked our real estate agent to get us in touch with a few builders that had a floor plan similar to what we were looking for, and after meeting Cody and sharing our plans with him, we immediately knew Solitude Homes was the right fit. Cody communicated clear expectations in that initial meeting, and stayed true to his word all the way through the build process. We were told that building a home can be a stressful experience, but because of Cody and his team's clear communication with us while the home was being built, we never experienced that stress. Even more impressive to us, was that the house was finished on time, and at budget.

Solitude's team has been exceptional in the building of our home. Cody has built a team that I have enjoyed working with during the building of our home. My wife and I viewed one of Solitude's parade homes Steve and Jackie were key in arranging a sit down meeting with Cody. This is our third home we have been able to participate in the planning of the home but this was by far the biggest undertaking my wife and I have experienced. We had our special requests and ideas we wanted incorporated into Cody's house plan and he has exceeded our expectations and the house is being completed on schedule. From Blake the foreman to Tricia and Clifton who helped us with interiors and cabinets they have all been great resources when making tough choices. I would highly recommend Cody, In a project this size their will always be bumps in the process, Cody stepped to the plate each time so that a solution could be reached.

He always responded promptly to any concerns or questions I had. Solitude Homes built our home in 2010. Cody was very professional and friendly throughout the entire project. We were pleased with the assistance designing a house to meet both our needs and our budget. The quality of workmanship and products was excellent. His contractors were efficient, and diligent about keeping quality up and extra costs down. Our home was completed in a very timely manner, and we are very happy with it after more than 3 years. We don't plan on leaving for several years, but should we find ourselves in a position to have another home built, they would definitely be managing the project.

I hired Solitude Homes to build my house. As a first time buyer/builder, I had a great experience. Cody was great to work with. He helped me use an existing floor plan and change it to meet my needs. I really enjoyed being able to pick out all of the materials for my house. The designer was very helpful. I would have liked to do a walk through with the electrician as well as pick out my lighting fixtures a little earlier. My house was finished pretty much on schedule and within budget. I felt like Cody was as excited as I was about my house. He was very helpful in customizing my plan and keeping it wthin the budget I had decicided on. My house turned out beautifully and I love coming home every day. I would definitely recommend Solitude Homes and if I ever build again, I will hire them again.
