Over the last 2 years, Peter has done 2 large design, remodel, redecorate projects for us. Peter listens accutely and understands his clients. He establishes a very strong partnership. He accomplishes both beauty and functionality. His projects go as smoothly as possible given today's contractor challenges. He always communicates steps, status and costs. He never overran our budgets unless we approved a change. His integrity is beyond reproach. Any project in our future will be done by Peter - the results are beautiful!

We have used Peter over a span of 15 years and we would not use any one else. Peter was our interior designer in our first house in Pennsylvania. Our home was designed around the fact that we had small children at the time. The choices and lay out were practical and yet tasteful for a busy and active lifestyle. Since then, we have moved states. We continue to use Peter. We were elated to know that he would still work with us. Our new home now consists of young adults and middle-aged parents. We wanted a design style that would create a balance between the generations. Peter again listened to the varied desires, interior tastes and needs of each individual in our home. Then, Peteredesigns guided us through the smallest and often overlooked details as to the lights and outlet covers. Our younger home owners enjoy their personalized spaces. The generalized and common spaces host any age group. I am so comfortable in my space that it is hard to leave for my day job! I could not close my review without mentioning that Peter always gave us options of products from which to choose. He found creative solutions to achieve the feel and look we desired. The final outcome never fail to satisfy my comfort and style taste buds. Peter endeavored to stay within our budget. He is honest and forthright with information about cost and quality. We always got what we agreed upon in cost and product. Since the Pandemic we had to wait for months for delivery of certain products and craftsmanship work. However, the saying "good things to those who wait.. is golden. Our would definitely recommend Peteredesigns to anyone.

I have done numerous design projects with Peter during the course of the last 2 1/2 years and each one exceeds the previous. Peter is a pleasure to work with, the process seamless and the outcome excellent. Pricing is transparent and he is ever conscious of the budget. I am running out of rooms to design, but have a couple more projects to tackle with Peter and have no hesitation in referring him to others.

I do not recommend Peter E Designs based on both the process and the product that Peter delivered. I had engaged his services for design and build of a kitchen, deck, and architectural features throughout a house that I had just purchased for renovation. I was happy with the conceptual design idea Peter offered. Construction/build ability was terrible. Aside from design, every other aspect of the work, including quality, communication, cost, schedule, planning, follow-through, and delivered product, was problematic. He appears very well intentioned but just not able to skillfully select, oversee, or manage construction projects. I ended up using Peter's services to complete my project but at every step I struggled with whether it would be better to terminate the arrangement, start again with someone else, and go through the legal hassle of sorting out what he owed me. In the end, I did get "a kitchen" and "a deck" but the products have required multiple re-works of significant components, it was a horrible experience with months of silence where I considered if he'd taken my money and left, and I had little opportunity to provide input to the product despite his assurances that I would. He came back to us for additional money for things he showed us in the original designs, he installed floor in the rooms that hadn't been agreed upon in the contract, he delivered tiling that was so poorly installed that it wasn't clear he wouldn't have to rip out the whole wall to start again, and other issues too numerous to list. He had other people's material delivered to my property where he had his team work on other people's projects, and his team regularly made use of our tools and equipment. His workers had a water emergency and called to determine where the water shutoff was, but wouldn't call me back to explain or agree to have an on-site point of contact. It was basically a nightmare that I'm looking forward to forgetting. Do. Not. Use. For. Build/Construction.

He takes great care to incorporate the owner preferences with his own expertise. Never pushy, just good ideas to choose from. Will definitely hire again

After selling my home in Florida I decided to close in my porch at my other home. ( Rehoboth Beach De) I wanted my screened in porch to be a 4 season room with the feel of still being in Florida. From the custom ceiling details to, the knotty pines warm wood tones that reminds me of my childhood beach home and hand painted concrete tile floor that just brings the whole thing together. I could not be more pleased. The contractors Peter hired did a wonderful job especially the tiler. Peter also took the time to take me to pick out my furniture. He has a eye for details, and came up with ideas I would have never considered. Family and friends were amazed at the transformation of the porch, and loved what peter had done with it. If you are looking to do something in your home I would recommend you talk to Peter first.

When I thought about renovating our second home before moving to it full time, I dreaded the thought of doing it!! After interviewing several designers, I found Peter! Hiring him was one of life’s better decisions. Working with him and his great sense of understanding what I wanted and making it beautiful was a wonderful experience. I now look forward to working with him again for our second floor renovation!

Peter E Designs, I loved working with him. He will work with you on what you want instead of gutting the furniture, walls, and etc. He chooses color schemes that fit your rooms and what you like. He is prompt in his timelines and if there are delays he will promptly let you know. I have no regrets about my decisions to hire this company and I will again as I love his work.

We hired this company to redecorate my parents bedroom. The room is the best it's ever looked from the color paint and arrangement of the room. My parents were amazed when they saw their room.
