We trusted La Costa Cabinets with a total kitchen remodel -- it was the best decision we made! Working with Holly on the design process was great. She is a great listener, encouraged our creativity, but was also very helpful sharing her own advice if a feature could be improved or the pros/cons of a particular feature. And she was patient as I went in circles a couple of time with my color selection... but we landed at the right spot. We also worked with them on the installation, and everything came out lovely. We even found an unexpected opportunity to vault the kitchen during demo and Holly happily redesigned the cabinets and lighting to match the newly vaulted ceiling

We used La Costa Cabinets & Design for our whole-home renovation. Holly, Cheyanne, William and Justin were all absolutely incredible. Their attention to detail and forethought on design and function really blew me away. They are also extremely prompt - every time an issue arose or a supply delay popped up, they were right there with a solution or a proactive way to keep moving forward on our project. Any renovation job has it's little issues that come up, but the team at La Costa helped us navigate everything really seamlessly, and most importantly, they got us moved back into our house on time. We have been enjoying our beautiful and functional new home so much! Every room La Costa renovated is such a joy to be in each day!

The crew at La Costa Cabinets & Design were nice to work with. Holly worked with us in person and online to finalize our kitchen design. The team moved quickly through demo and installation and they were able to accommodate a design change. Excellent design and excellent execution. Love William's follow-up on details allowing Holly to spend more time on the big picture. We couldn't be happier with the beautiful new kitchen designed and installed for us by La Costa Cabinets! Holly has a great eye for design and functionality and really listened to what we wanted in our new kitchen. She was incredibly patient throughout the design process, tweaking the plans as many times as we needed to get the perfect design. She helped us navigate picking out tile, countertops, lighting, appliances, hardware, fabric, and paint, making sure everything would have a cohesive look and be durable enough to withstand life with dogs and kids. Once the cabinets came in, William and his team were a pleasure to have in the house. We completely gutted and rebuilt our kitchen. I've never used a designer for a project before and Holly and La Costa Cabinets gave me a whole new perspective as well as fantastic support from beginning to end. Holly kept our budget in mind and spent numerous hours discussing and reworking the design with me until we were completely satisfied with it. Our cabinets were well crafted, delivered on the date promised and packaged so that nothing was damaged. There are always issues in any project, but Holly kept following up with us and helped us any way she could to keep our remodel moving along and completed within the timeframe we needed. We now have a kitchen more usable and beautiful than I hoped. I highly recommend working with Holly and La Costa Cabinets.

Renovations are such an emotional endeavor (not to mention being expensive!), that being able to work with someone who is calm, professional, flexible, highly competent, patient, and looking out for you financially is awesome, and Holly is all that and more. We had Holly redraw the plans several times, as seeing the renderings would lead to revisions, and Holly was always upbeat and stressed that we should tweak the design as many times as needed to get our perfect floor-plan and cabinets. Although it took six months to finally come to the perfect design, Holly stuck with the original agreed upon design fee without ever a hint of a complaint. Being with Holly felt like we were working with an old friend, and having completed our project, we consider Holly to be a new-found friend and are glad to recommend her.

Our cabinet designer, Cindy Ryan, works with William at La Costa Cabinets and scheduled him for an initial consultation at our home. He arrived on time and spent over an hour discussing our existing cabinets and the advantages and disadvantages of refacing or replacing the cabinets. Based on our research, William’s expertise and our budget, we decided to replace our cabinets with KraftMaid from La Costa Cabinets. William returned a couple of times to measure and re-measure to ensure the proper fit. He collaborated with Cindy to produce a set of kitchen cabinet plans. Due to Covid-19 the cabinet production took longer, but they still arrived within the time that La Costa Cabinets promised. William and assistant, Justin, again arrived on time and explained the timing and process that the installation would take. Their set up of supplies in the house was clean and orderly working for three full days. Every day they cleaned up and prepared for the next day. Their craftsmanship was precise and outstanding with every piece and part fitting where it was supposed to go; the cabinets look spectacular. At the completion of the cabinet installation, we didn’t have the handles and pulls; William returned a week later and spent half a day installing the hardware. While here, he noticed a few cabinet doors hitting the just installed appliances and suggested different hinges which he returned later to install at no charge. We highly recommend William and La Costa Cabinets!

Our long awaited kitchen is finally done, and I can’t recommend Cheyanne and La Costa cabinets enough! She was very patient with our many many design changes, made sure everything was perfect, helped with design choices, and overall was a pleasure to work with!

Our long-awaited kitchen and family room remodel was an all-around exceptional experience. Cheyanne was a delight to work with. She was enthusiastic, responsive, professional, and, above all, an outstanding listener. I had been collecting ideas for years and Cheyanne patiently absorbed it all and then deftly and creatively develop more beautiful cabinet and space designs than I could possibly have imagined. Her recommended contractors were all A+ as well. Cheyanne faced several challenges posed by the previous dysfunctional ducting and wall layouts and came up with ingenious solutions. Friends and a family have described our new kitchen as “breathtaking” and the “most gorgeous” they have seen. Holly and William are the owners of La Costa cabinet and design. They as well as their staff are highly professional. Renovating a kitchen was not new to my husband and I . We have moved and done renovations more than a few times. They are the best at what they do. They were respectful of our ideas as well as our home. Their suggestions were always spot on. Communication by both William and Holly was great. You did not have to wonder if they were showing up for work. Workers were there every day and William is not just an owner he is also a worker. He oversees the jobs with a critical eye. Our kitchen renovation took approximately one month. William gave us a time schedule and it was for fulfilled. Holly has a great eye for design and together they make a great team. We are delighted with our new kitchen. We highly recommend La Costa cabinets and design.

Working with Holly & William from LCC & D was a dream. They came into my radar from close friend recommendations so I had the advantage of seeing their transformative work for myself. As this was my first foray into a major remodel I was nervous, but from our initial meeting my fears were laid to rest as they were transparent about cost and insightful (would have never had my much cherished breakfast nook without Holly's creativity). In addition to their design assistance was the professionalism of their crew. Each and every one of their team was beyond competent in their particular skill along with being prompt and respectful. When, in the rare instance, when things did go astray or off schedule , they were my strongest allies in being persistent and assuring me over anxious deadlines. From the moment I walked into La Costa Cabinets, I knew we were in the right place. Working with Cheyanne on our design made our whole kitchen and bathroom renovation seamless and enjoyable. Holly and William were incredible. We wanted to brighten our kitchen and the result is better than we imagined. One of our goals was to have a larger island but the slab we picked out was not big enough. Holly came up with a perfect solution - add a drop-down butcher block table to the island. The butcher block table looks stunning and is one of my favorite items in the kitchen. The lighting, cabinets, sink, counterops, everything is beautiful! William is a perfectionist and went through each item to be sure it was working perfectly. We could not have done it without Holly, William and their crew!

Holly and her team was extremely helpful with my kitchen remodel. They took the time to go over different design options that suit my kitchen layout. She and Anina also designed my guest room using existing and new pieces, and it turned out so lovely. William is a master craftsman and can do pretty much anything! He and his crew were very clean and we'd always have a walk through at the end of each workday to show me what they had accomplished. William would also review and check off my entire punch list, making sure we were happy with every aspect of the job. Over the course of several months, we had a few issues, as any project does, and they always worked hard to fix them with well thought out solutions. William & Holly really care about us and our project, and stayed committed to the project to the very end with all the stray details. We have worked with other contractors who basically left us hanging or didn't seem to care about the final details or our satisfaction. I'm hoping to continue on with our projects throughout our home with La Costa!

We have been planning our house remodel for what seemed like years. We happened to drop into La Costa Cabinets for some ideas and talked with Cheyanne. She was very knowledgeable and quickly understood what we were trying to do. She helped with the design and we are very happy with the results. There were several changes along the way, but Cheyanne was right on top of the follow up for anything we needed.

About two months ago, we found out we would be relocating to Santa Barbara due to a job change. We needed to have our house ready to rent in 6 weeks time, and that included a significant bathroom update. We were on a tight budget and a tight time frame. We had a bathroom remodel done and needed new cabinetry. Our contractor had a relationship with a cabinet maker but after taking a look at some of those projects we decided to look for another cabinet manufacturer. Cheyenne at La Costa Cabinets provided us with a number of alternatives and we finally came up with an excellent solution at a reasonable price. The cabinets look great and the carpenter who installed them confirmed that they were a very good quality cabinet. I met Holly, the owner of LaCosta Kitchen designs and Holly, her designer in September. They are so wonderful to work with. I knew exactly what I wanted and told them of my 'bicoastal schedule'! Amy drew up plans for me, within a week; we tweaked them to my preferences, this is my 7th home and kitchen remodel! What a pleasure she is to work with. She listened to all my wishes, demands and wants and drew it all out with recommendations. We found a company who made the cabinet color I wanted, choose beautiful hardware, took me to tile stores and helped me pick out tile for the backsplash and a fireplace surround. She made the process fun! It was like meeting a very knowledgeable girlfriend and accomplishing design work!! I hired Most Construction, a crew Amy had worked with, and what a pleasure they were. Two months into the rehab and rehaul, I came back to NY. Amy made sure that her drawings were followed out, the crew did a great install and she accepted appliance delivery for me in my absence. Three and a half years ago, La Costa Cabinets & Design had done a small kitchen and bath project for us in our starter home. We were very happy with the entire project from beginning to end. In mid-2016, we purchased a new home that was badly in need of remodeling. By the end of this month, we’ll have finished a full kitchen, closet, bath and master suite remodel with La Costa Cabinets. Holly worked diligently on all of the designs and even pulled an extra closet into our already stretched budget. Now, our boys have a custom closet in their playroom and we have a brand new master closet all done in a stylish gray laminate. I had always wanted a farmhouse style kitchen. I fell in love with a white glazed cabinet that was a great accompaniment to our farmhouse table and rustic furniture. The girls at La Costa brought in a faux finisher, who distressed some of my existing furniture, so it would go with my new home. Holly and I worked together to find all of the tile and counter tops, to accompany my farm style. We even found an old dutch door for my kitchen. My husband and I have been really pleased with the staff of La Costa Cabinets. William and Kurt are undoubtedly the cleanest workman on the planet!! We really enjoyed the process (as much as you can during a remodel). Regardless of the size of your project, Holly treats you like family. We feel very comfortable recommending La Costa Cabinets to anyone needing design services or remodeling.

What a great experience working with Holly and William! This was our first time using a designer and we didn't really know what to expect. All around just a very pleasant experience, they are awesome people to work with and the entire remodeling from initial design to finished bathroom never felt stressful at all! We are already looking forward to working on our next project with them again! We couldn't have been happier with the process and the outcome, we just sit in our new bathroom and marvel at the results.

Holly, William and LaCosta Cabinets helped us to remodel 3 upstairs bathrooms this past year. We gutted two bathrooms, but the Master Bathroom had some unique tile designs that we wanted to keep, so it was important to work with a company that did not just want to take everything out. We also had shopped for cabinets on Miramar Road and in San Marcos and we were not finding the quality of cabinetry that we desired. So I was very excited to find LaCosta Cabinets so near to our house in Cardiff carrying two excellent "made in America" custom cabinet manufacturers. And when I visited shortly thereafter I found Holly in her inspirational shop excited to help us. I can't say enough about how happy we are with every bathroom. Each is very unique. The Master Bath is done in dark cherry, mission style cabinets with Durango travertine and Sonoma tile accents. The kids bath is what we called "Hamptons Style" with white subway tile and transitional white cabinets against a deep blue paint and Sonoma seaside tiles as an accent around the mirror and the back wall of the bathtub. The ensuite guest bath is "spa-serene-beach natural" with large porcelain tiles in the shower and accents of a shimmery Sonoma glass blend that looks like water on sea glass. We were able to find two granite slabs that worked for all 3 bathrooms and we used every inch of those to good advantage. Holly helped me pick out awesome lighting, plumbing hardware, knobs/handles, mirrors, frameless glass doors and paint colors too. I also love the tile we used on the floors which everyone mistakes as natural wood plank. Holly and William were both great to work with. They helped us work through every detail until everything was just right. We had our share of construction snags to make everything right in this house, but they stuck with us until we were completely happy. And the therapy is provided at no extra charge! ;-)

I was very impressed with her knowledge , experience and expertise in design and remodeling. Of even greater importance, I recognized Holly as a woman of integrity, someone I could trust. Her warm, friendly, and engaging personality ensured she was someone I would enjoy working with. I enlisted Holly's help as both designer and project manager for our extensive interior and exterior home remodel. Holly was able to quickly discern my tastes and the look, "feel" and function of the home I envisioned. After fine tuning the design of our kitchen, three bathrooms, outdoor room, and overall aesthetics we moved forward with material selection. This included but was not limited to all flooring, paint, tile, stone, counter tops, appliances, fixtures, lighting and hardware. Her husband William and his hand picked crew expertly and meticulously installed cabinetry, and all finish work . Any subs used on on the job were held to Holly and William's high standards of excellence, including the cleanliness of our home at the end of each work day. Holly's honesty, integrity, competency and sincere desire to give us a beautiful home allowed us the comfort of very little stress which is virtually unheard of in home remodels. Holly and her team were recommended to me and my wife by a good friend from Manhattan Beach who had worked with her a couple years ago on a kitchen and bathroom remodel. I was very confidant from the first meeting. Holly explained everything clearly and I really felt like she understood what we wanted. In July 2015, we engaged La Costa Cabinets & Design to help with our home remodel. Initially we had planned to engage them primarily to assist with our kitchen remodel (i.e. new cabinets and cabinet installation) however shortly after we started to work with them we found that there advice and expertise were fantastic and we ended up using them on everything from demolition of the existing interior to plumbing and even specific sub-contractor referrals. The company is a warm and family-run business. William, who managed and guided the whole installation from start to finish - was friendly, highly efficient and tidy (people under-estimate how important this is.) Holly, who helped design our kitchen, is fun, easy to talk to and VERY patient (also very important ;-)) A home remodel is stressful and there are a lot of things that can go wrong - my advice is choose companies that are easy to deal with and present when things go wrong. La Costa cabinets is that company. We had things go wrong (as expected) during our home remodel but La Costa Cabinets & Design made the effort to help us stay on track -- we could not ask for more! I would recommend La Costa Cabinets.

We hired La Costa Cabinets after interviewing two other companies. It was clear to us immediately that she was going to give us her utmost attention and not just add us to a long list of other people. She came to our house and talked to us about our likes and dislikes and wanted to understand our personalities (me and my husband) and our styles. She and her staff offered us computer animations of the various designs we could choose from and they made changes all along the way if we had new ideas or if she thought of something to solve a problem with the layout of our house. She always managed to find a way to integrate what we wanted. She redesigned our kitchen and master bathroom. She had many ideas for the finished touches which may our home look vary glamorous. We have a beautiful mural of tuscany over the stove, and other specialized tiles that match our farmhouse theme. We sent to the slab yard and spend many hours there until we found the perfect slabs that look stunning. We love our new kitchen and get many compliments. Although we have an upscale "country farmhouse" feel to our kitchen, the master bathroom looks like a 4 Star Spa at a hotel, with a waterfall, a rainfall shower head, and tile that looks like marble. It was all very reasonably priced and she passed her general contractor discount on all new appliances and products (tile, counter tops, etc.) to us. Her husband William also fixed all kinds of things that had fallen into disrepair throughout our property. He fixed a water fountain in the backyard that had a broken motor. We were very satisfied, and when we get ready to update some of our other rooms or add cabinets anywhere in the house, we will be calling La Costa Cabinets. We highly recommend her and William to anyone in Southern Cal.

I met Holly about 3 years ago when I was redoing my Mother's Kitchen and I had really enjoyed her work. I subsequently hired her to do my own contemporary kitchen, master closet, entertainment center and three bathrooms (including our master bathroom). We just finished the master bathroom and the closet and everything looks amazing. We worked together to install very modern red acrylic cabinets that are warm and beautiful and contrasts the black countertops perfectly. She made the project seamless while taking the project management off my hands, especially with my workload from my job increasing. I highly recommend Holly for her artistic creativity and her attention to detail. She made this stressful project fun and will definitely utilize her services again for a few more of my up and coming projects.

Holly Stosic designed the guest house that I live in. It used to be a garage that was being used as an office/art studio. I had never worked with a designer before and a friend recommended Holly to me. She got my personality immediately and gave me some really great ideas. I am a horse trainer and horses are my life. Holly suggested adding Enkeboll corbels to the breakfast bar in the kitchen. We were on a budget, but this was an acceptable expense because she made it up in other places in the overall cost. The corbels make the kitchen, and we added two custom horse head tiles over the range to complete the décor. I love my kitchen and it makes me smile every time I look at it. The granite counter top is a deep green and Holly found a remnant that was half the retail cost of a full slab. She even found the sweetest cabinet handles with carrots and other vegetables that add a sense of whimsy for me. Although the space was small, I felt it was all used to the best possible result. The black and white bath is spacious and always looks fresh. I have a walk-in closet, stacked washer/dryer, utility closet and pantry. The design made my home feel like a much larger space. All of my friends comment all the little touches!

I hired La Costa Cabinets & Design to do a kitchen remodel and they were nothing short of spectacular. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Holly Stosic at our homes in Manhattan Beach and in Arizona. The MB house remodel was a galley Kitchen and three bathrooms. The kitchen was orginally very dark and confining. We have a vaulted ceiling. Holly suggested putting in windows above the cabinets, so we wouldn’t lose storage. The outcome was beautiful and it brings in so much natural light. The cabinets are a soft gray (almost white) very coastal looking. The laundry was adjacent to the kitchen and it is all enclosed in cabinetry, so it looks like part of the kitchen. Holly put in a gray cabinet/pantry that looks like a piece of furniture. She added quartz counter tops and blue iridescent Sonoma tile. Holly suggested incorporating rustic wood shelves and a beautiful butcher block top of our adjacent bar area. In kid’s Jack and Jill suite we used Walker Zanger white crackle tile. It had so many great different pieces and allows for accessorizing as our girls grow-up. Going with the coastal theme of the house, we used a Carrera marble looking Caesarstone on the counters. All of our vanities were raised, as we are a very tall family. Holly didn’t miss a beat and she even fed our pets while we were on vacation. Our bathroom was also Walker Zanger tile, an off-white tile with soft green accent tiles. The cabinets are an off-white called linen. The powder room has a bold patterned tile on the floor and a porcelain vanity. The whole family loves the house so much. Recently, we purchased a home in the desert. Holly has such incredible listening skills. She makes the project fun and I just felt so confidant. Even when things go wrong, she is right there with a solution. I love that she doesn’t make excuses. Her team is incredible. We’re in the planning stages for our desert house, which will be very modern. I highly recommend La Costa Cabinets & Design.
