We moved from NYC to our house in CT almost 9 years ago. We went from zero to 2 acres and we went a little nuts planting anything that sparked our interest. This year we finally accepted that it had really gotten away from us. The existing plantings were old and spent, the new ones were growing wild and way out of control. And the weeds, OMG the weeds. We found Encore Landscaping on Houzz and asked Diane to come out to assess our issues. We hired her on the spot. The work they accomplished this past fall is amazing. They absolutely stayed within our budget and I feel did more than I thought possible in the time we had. Diane is a great designer and worked closely with us incorporating our ideas as well, gently steering us in the right direction for some of the big moves. I have done an number of projects with Diane and Jeff, and they have done other projects within my 55+ neighborhood. They work with you and design your project to fit within your budget and taste. I have had them put in a 10x12 hard scape patio, a stone border around the plantings in the front of my house, and reworked the plantings in front. I have no experience in plants and they helped me pick out appropriate plantings and discussed what I wanted to keep and what would go best with the plants I wanted to hang on to. I have them come back in the Spring and Fall and maintain my front planting area.

We hired Encore to cleanup a garden and add some edging. They did an awesome job in a timely manner. They thinned out some plantings and moved others to work better in the garden. We are really pleased with the job and we will be calling them back for estimates on other work.

Working with Diane and Jeff was so easy! They helped work with my budget and truly improved the curb appeal of my home. I can't wait to do even more projects with them!

My front lawn needed top soil and reseeding. I also asked Encore to mulch and do some plantings. I was very happy with the work. The work was done within budget and on time. I asked the owner to make the decision when selecting the plantings. It was a large area and I didn't know what to buy. It turned out so well. I have already asked Encore to come back and do maintenance to keep it looking so beautiful.
