Kate, the designer, was extremely knowledgeable and professional and provided a lot of guidance in choosing cabinets, flooring, countertops and lighting, the outcome was fantastic. The main installation was performed by Joe who did a fantastic job of installing the cabinets and trim. The entire installation team, plumbers, tile installer, electricians, countertop measurer and installers were incredible. It was quite evident they had extensive experience and took pride in their work. Especial thanks to the coordinator, who established the schedule and had the trades people arrive on schedule, a well-oiled machine. Thanks!

We just had our kitchen remodeled using Cabinet Discounters and I absolutely love it. From start to finish, everything went very smoothly! Cabinet Discounters did an excellent job with our kitchen renovation. I was especially pleased with the additional storage our designer, Rebecca Litton, was able to add. Our pantry was converted so that its shelves could be pulled out, which is very useful. Once the tear down began, the entire process took only a month. Ms. Litton explained how we could function without our kitchen for that length of time. We liked the wide variety of countertops, flooring, backsplashes, and cabinets that we could see in their showroom. They also recommended an excellent appliance store and painter.

We completed a total gut and rebuild of a large master bathroom in November, 2024. Bottom line: Highly pleased with Cabinet Discounters, Inc (CDI). Excellent planning and design service (thank you Mary C!), great management of logistics in procuring all the necessary materials before starting demo, expert craftsmanship and high quality materials for everything from the flooring, to the plumbing, to the cabinetry, to the shower and glass and all tile work, and top notch electrical and lighting. The price was very competitive (we got more than one bid). Our carpenter, Joe M., acted as the foreman, so to speak, and moved walls, rebuilt subflooring as necessary, installed cabinets, and did trim work revealing the true expert he is. Every other specialist did their jobs professionally and efficiently. All were courteous and made special efforts to minimize dust. Great attention to cleanliness and disposal of all waste. We were extremely impressed with the detailed architectural plans we received, the itemized proposal that allowed us to see exactly what we were paying for for each item and its requisite labor, and especially for the detailed daily schedule of work, showing who was coming to the house (by name and function) and exactly for how many days. CDI stuck to the schedule they presented us and wasn't even a single day late in completing the project. Now, one year later, all the work is intact and we have ZERO complaints or regrets. We highly recommend CDI.

When we started planning our kitchen renovation we decided that we’d talk to two cabinet companies to see what they had to offer. Our first visit was to Cabinet Discounters where we met with Katie Kieler in their Springfield showroom. We discussed our plans and ideas for the renovation and Katie was so wonderfully helpful in that initial conversation that we decided that we wouldn’t look at another company. We’d been using the kitchen we were renovating for 30 years so we had a good idea of what we wanted to change and what constraints we had based on the layout. Katie listened to our thoughts and ideas, and at a subsequent appointment she showed us a plan for our kitchen that did an excellent job of meeting our needs. We were very happy with the design, but then she showed us her ideas for our kitchen that took the space to a whole new level. That’s the design we went with. Throughout the entire process Katie was very attentive to both the big picture and the small details. She even shared with us her expertise about parts of our project that Cabinet Discounters wasn’t involved in. And everyone else from there was very friendly and professional, we would certainly use them again!

We would like to recognize Billy Van Horn for his incredible knowledge, his ability to work with our plans, help in maximizing our space, walk us through an ergonomically design that would be efficient for our use and most of all his unyielding patience as we wavered in our cabinet wood style and color. While a house project of any size is not without it's stressors, the kitchen and bathroom were my favorite part. Billy obviously enjoys what he does and we were very satisfied with how our design turned out!!

We turned to Cabinet Discounters in Springfield to remodel our master bathroom after having a positive experience about 10 years ago with Katie Kieler when we updated our powder room. We couldn't be more pleased with the transformation of our 35-year-old master bath into a lovely and serene space. Katie not only put together complementary components (cabinets, tile, countertop) but also added custom touches such as a beautiful wood framed mirror with side panels and worked with the cabinet manufacturer to supply a pull-out sink cabinet drawer so that we could get the style we liked. All this while staying within our budget and with patience as she and I worked through the process. All the subcontractors were professional and easy to work with. A special shout out to Benito Perez for his exceptional tile work.

As a woodworker, I couldn’t choose the ubiquitous white or gray cabinets found in many newer kitchens. I love the look of and working with walnut so I had to have walnut cabinets. Of the VERY few kitchen places selling walnut cabinetry, Cabinet Discounters (CD) had the best combination of quality and price. What really sold us was our salesperson, Colleen Reilly, at the OLNEY, Maryland store. Colleen was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the remodel and was particularly thoughtful and gave great suggestions and anticipated our needs. It was thrilling to see our dream kitchen come to life in the computer renderings she created as we shared our vision with her. After receiving the cabinets, there were a few found to have defects from the factory (not CD’s fault). She was great about quickly reordering the needed pieces. CD also has a great “fix-it” guy, Ward, whose expertise was instrumental in completing touchups and minor hardware adjustments after the installation was completed which made the kitchen the best could be.

Cabinet Discounters designed and rebuilt my kitchen this spring. I could not be happier. The redesign was very detailed and there was nothing overlooked. I was given a schedule for the job, everyone showed up as scheduled, they cleaned up when they finished for the day. Most importantly the job was done on time! I have space for everything now, due to careful design, and it’s now a pleasure to cook again.

Cabinet Discounters is fantastic and they and their subcontractors did extremely high quality work on our new kitchen. All of the work was completed in a timely fashion and on schedule—there were no delays. The resulting product is very beautiful and functional. At our very first meeting with Marie Gignilliat at Cabinet Discounters Gaithersburg, MD showroom it was clear that we made the right choice. Marie was very patient and listened carefully to what we wanted. She also guided us through the process. After our meeting, Marie developed a design that worked very well in our 1950’s Cape Cod house. She included features that we would have never thought of on our own and she designed a layout that was more useful and functional than our current kitchen. Once we had a plan, Marie helped us with choosing the right cabinetry, color, countertop and hardware and all within our budget. The project started on schedule and our first contractor was Brent from Brentwood Builders. Brent methodically deconstructed our old kitchen and removed all the cabinetry and appliances. During the deconstruction phase, Brent found that the old dishwasher had leaked damaging the floor underneath that Brent repaired without a delay in the schedule. When the new cabinets arrived Brent expertly installed them and the new appliances. Speaking of appliances, Marie recommended ADU appliances in Gaithersburg, Our sales person was Kenneth Cochran and he too provided expert service. It was essential that we choose our appliances early on in the process so that Marie could incorporate them in to the design. After we made our choices, Kenneth alerted us that the appliances that we were thinking about were on sale several months before we needed, them. Kenneth arranged to have delivery of the appliances deferred and that allowed us to take advantage of the sale without having the appliances on site. Brent found the dishwasher leak two days before the appliance delivery and Kenneth was able to find a dishwasher and have it delivered with the other appliances averting a long delay to completing the project. I cannot speak highly enough of Brent and Kenneth. Next Debbie and Alex (Debbie’s assistant) from Tri-Star Electricians worked on the the electrical part of the project installing new outlets, switches, installation of under cabinet lighting and rough-in for the dishwasher and garbage disposal that were “specked” in Marie’s plan. Debbie is not only a highly skilled technician but an outstanding engineer. She made some terrific suggestions about lighting options and other electrical issues with our old house. I don’t know the names of the counter top installers or fabricators from Creative In Counters, but they too were extraordinary craftsmen and the installed counters fit perfectly. The last phase of the project was installation of the tile backsplash by Benito. Like Brent and Debbie; Benito approached the project in workman-like

We purchased a foreclosure home in 2014 and when it came to replacing all our cabinets (5 bathrooms and 1 kitchen) we returned to Cabinet Discounters and to the same designer in Columbia we used in the home we previously owned. We like the quality of Brighton cabinets and used them to replace all the cabinets we needed in our multi-year multi-room remodeling. I am impressed by the attention to detail that has been a hallmark of every purchase we made.

Cabinet delivery was on time and went well. Countertop delivery and installation was excellent. My issue is with the designer, starting out I thought she did a good job. It wasn't until my contractor started installing the cabinets the problem arose. Instead of a sink cabinet I received a blind cabinet with a drawer where the sink would be. Also, the cabinet was supposed to be 48" inches and was only 45" and didn't touch the back wall when I asked why she said it wasn't supposed to touch the wall but never gave me a reason why. The next issue was the same cabinet was missing the left panel and just left open on one side, she said that's the way it comes but couldn't answer why. When I asked about getting a panel for it because I didn't just want it left open, she wanted to sell me a piece of panel for $255. I declined that offer and got a piece of plywood for $30. Since the cabinet was installed when I discovered these issues my contractor worked it out. My biggest problem was the insult to my intelligence.

I returned to Cabinet Discounters for a new bathroom vanity because they did an excellent job some 15 years earlier for a total kitchen remodeling project. Beginning with the initial meeting with Mike Bliss who listened so carefully to what I wanted, paid attention to cost options and had good suggestions that I would never have thought of, the entire process could not have been smoother. Everything scheduled happened exactly on time, important to me as I work FT. Every workman who came was totally professional, efficient, respectful and friendly. When I called Mike Bliss in a panic after I accidentally dropped my glasses between the wall and the vanity, he sent a carpenter right out who skillfully fished out my glasses without a scratch. The finished vanity is perfect! Many thanks to Mike Bliss and the entire team.

I worked with Jenny Suarez to design my new kitchen. It is absolutely beautiful. The crew was great as well. Everything was completed on schedule.

We worked with Jenny Suarez at Cabinet Discounters. This was the second house that we did a kitchen remodel in. Both remodels were done by Jenny. She was very helpful and full of design ideas. Whatever issue we had was taken care of immediately. We thoroughly enjoyed working with her. Also all of the carpenters,electricians and plumbers were very skilled and a pleasure to work with on both projects.

I worked with Jenny Suarez and she was awesome. When she came out to do a site visit with my contractor. She was extremely patient, detail oriented, caught all of the small things and was creative and thought outside the box to help bring my design to life, using my cabinet selection. We had several meetings with screen shares to discuss options and renderings were provided as well. I am so nervous going into this as this is my first time doing a kitchen renovation, but at the same time, very confident as I trust Jenny.

Our client homeowner had a flood in their home in which a bathroom cabinet was damaged and needed to be replaced. Jenny Suarez and the team at Cabinet Discounters in Springfield, VA were great. I brought in a sample and Katie Keller in the showroom was very helpful in identifying the exact cabinet style and color. Jenny went to the home and measured to ensure we had the correct cabinet. After a six week wait while the cabinet was built (the normal wait time), my team accepted delivery and installed the new cabinet. The homeowner was very pleased.

Cabinet Discounters Springfield was great from start to finish. Katie Kieler was our kitchen designer and we couldn't have been more pleased with her service. She was patient, knowledgeable and listened intently to coach us through making decisions on materials and the design. She suggested options that matched our kitchen use habits and the results were phenomenal. We now have a kitchen completely redesigned for convenient storage, organization, and practical access and all the materials came together beautifully. Lisa Bichner and George Silva were our go-to providers once renovation was underway. They were so very accommodating and patient with our not-so-helpful condominium facilities manager and the extensive hurdles with getting to yes and pushing inspections through. All the scheduling worked like clockwork and communication was smooth. All of the contractors were courteous and helpful. Special shout out to Andres and his helper, as they were so polite and hardworking.

I worked with designer Katie Kieler (Springfield, VA locations) and opted for the Brighton line as we needed a lot of customization to get the exact layout we wanted. Katie was terrific in every way. She gave lots of helpful insights as we tweaked the plan and when she came to the house She also provided ideas I hadn't thought of for the backsplash and other parts of the kitchen. We've lived in the kitchen for 8 months and it has exceeded our expectations.

Cabinet Discounters provides a completely integrated, full service kitchen remodeling service. Their staff are fantastic, the cabinets, countertops, tile, etc. are great quality, and they stand by their work. They really know what they're doing. My designer got the absolute most out of the space I had; my new kitchen works great and looks great.

We worked with Shawn Bliss for our kitchen/dining room remodeling and it couldn't have gone better. Shawn brought our vision to life and we would highly recommend Cabinet Discounters for great products and customer service!

We did two smaller bathroom remodeling projects which were initiated at the Springfield showroom in July. Excellent contact with Jenny, good communication and follow up from her. Company listens to customer and is responsive. The Cabinets/vanities and countertops were on time and of good quality. For ease of doing business and for customer simplicity, it would however be easier to have Cabinet Discounters deal entirely with both installation/delivery/scheduling of cabinet/vanity on one hand and countertops on the other, versus there being two entities to interface with post ordering. But all in all a very good experience. CS

I am so happy with Cabinet Discounters and Mike Bliss, in particular. The cabinets are built well, look great, and a quality cabinet with many choices of color and style. Although, beautiful good quality cabinets are important, it’s more than that. Mike Bliss is an excellent designer and came up with ways to best use my space. Mike really listened to what I had to say and my vision of how I imagined my new kitchen would look. He helped me tweak it so the kitchen flow, space, and usage are copacetic. There were no hidden costs and his customer service is outstanding. The best testament I can give is we just finished the 3rd kitchen (a renovation 10 years ago, 2nd home, and now our new and final home) with Mike! We keep going back.

They did a fabulous job on our kitchen. Their work crews were so professional and efficient. Everything was done on time and correctly. We are thrilled with the results.

The cabinets were absolutely beautiful, but the service was even better. I had no idea how much design work was involved in renovating a kitchen and they found a few things that my architect has missed and corrected them in the installation process. Fair warning, however, the discount is on high end cabinetry. They do not sell bargain basement products.

Mike Bliss from the Gaithersburg store was superb! He thought of every detail when designing the cabinets...things that wouldn't have occurred to us but that we appreciate now that we're living in the space. Also, when he came out to measure, he noticed an issue that wasn't apparent from our contractor's design, so he was able to adjust everything to make the kitchen perfect. He's also so kind, friendly, and patient. Thanks, Mike!!!! We're also happy with the quality of the Brighton cabinets.

Words cannot express how pleased I am with my new kitchen!!! From the moment I walked into Cabinet Discounters in Olney, Maryland and was greeted by LeAndrea Bethea, things have unfolded in such a pleasant way that I am still in awe. She was able to help me "see" the finished product and every one of her suggestions have proven to be exactly what was needed. At the beginning I was given of schedule of what work would be done, and on what day, so I knew in advance who would be working in my home on any given day. The entire staff that worked on my project was on time, focused and made sure that I was pleased with the work that was being done. And, they have this wonderful tool called Basecamp whereby everyone is aware of what is being done at all times; there is no need to send multiple emails to different people. What a wonderful way for everyone to "be on the same page". Even as the project drew to a close, Ms. Bethea and her co-worker came out to make sure that everything met their expectations. They even saw little blemishes that I don't think I would have ever noticed but they made sure to list them and have workers return to bring everything up to standard. This is the fourth time we’ve had Cabinet Discounters to do our counters and they are awesome! We worked with Katie in Springfield and she helped us pick out the perfect counter. We get compliments from everyone and the price was so good compared to other places. The men who installed did an amazing job especially since one piece was huge and hard to get into the house. I used Cabinet Discounters for remodeling my laundry room. Specifically I purchased all the cabinets, and quartz countertop from them and they provided the installation. Great job. Working with Jenny Suarez was a delight. She understood my requirements and created computer mockups that allowed me to envision the final product. Jenny’s customer service skills were outstanding. The subcontractor that CDI used for the countertop did a great job. In fact they identified a small defect in the sink that I had purchased when they came to measure the template for the countertop. I was able to get a replacement sink and the installation of the countertop proceeded on schedule.

Jenny Suarez did a fantastic job on our kitchen, with creative touches like converting a closet into a brick chimney and oven.

We worked with Cabinet Discounters to remodel our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Jenny at CDI was amazing. She transformed our 1970's dark kitchen into a magnificent modern light, bright masterpiece. The bathrooms are amazing and we love every bit of them. The design process was easy and Jenny did all the hard work for us. The projects started on time an stayed on budget. Cabinet Discounters was a wonderful organization to work with. We had kitchen cabinets and counters replaced. They took time to help us decide exactly what cabinets and options we wanted. They have excellent communications in their online scheduling and communications tool, and try hard to set realistic expectations. Their subcontractors were well coordinated. They came when they said they would come. And when they came they did a fantastic job and were sensitive to our concerns. After substantial completion they made sure everything was acceptable with walk through, punch list and fixup. They even provided a follow up visit to repair a new faucet that we purchased as the original parts were defective. All in all we were very pleased and would recommend them highly.

Our kitchen remodel went very smoothly! We used the Gaithersburg, MD location. Tess Moran was our designer, and she guided us through every selection and was our main point of contact throughout the entire process. George Silva of the installation team kept the actual installation schedule as tight as possible, and with excellent communication. They addressed every concern and made sure we were happy customers. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

They have done our counters in different houses. Both times were very pleased. What I really them if they helped steer us toward choices, and were very careful to match the grout with the backsplash perfectly. The counters I picked were light and airy looking and brightened up my kitchen considerably. Superb workmanship. It was big home improvement for the year and well worth every penny. My project is in the ordering process. My work will not start until February 6, 2023. I started the process in late June. I made several changes before I made my final decision. Material has been ordered. The sale associated was very helpful and assisted me during the process. Will be able to rate again when the project is complete.

We changed out all of our kitchen cabinets, both top and base cabinets. It was a fairly large project. Our designer Tess, did a wonderful job and was very helpful and responsive the entire time. We even went back to get a custom medicine cabinet made. We would definitely use them for all future projects.

Victoria has been very patient and pleasant to work with making my cabinet selection a great experience! She took her time with me to ensure my kitchen would be exactly as I envisioned. The prices and services were also very reasonable; I am very happy with my choice to use Cabinet discounters.

We bought the complete reno. New everything, and knock out a load-bearing wall which became essentially a food-staging peninsula between the kitchen and dining room. Nothing of this size ever goes completely perfect, but when it didn't, it got fixed. They put together an on-line project schedule and each of their subs lived it. We also got new 1st floor hardwood flooring. Everything went on schedule and the result is georgeous. We're a 2500 sq ft house with the 12 x 12 ft kitchen so you can only make it but so fancy, but our kitchen is better than you could ever imagine. The planning and coordination of the project was the key to our satisfaction and the responsiveness of the suppot team (Thank You Miranda) made it work. Our "Bucket List" kitchen is picture perfect!

We did a kitchen upgrade that included new countertops, backsplash and wall tile. Katie Kiehler was a pleasure to work with and assisted with color and design choices. We are very happy with the new look of our kitchen!

We are very pleased with the outcome of our kitchen remodeling project. Our designer Jenny Suarez was friendly, professional and creative--we worked interactively with her to produce some unique solutions, such as a bricked-in oven area. Our cabinet installer Dave was exceptional both in work quality and temperament. We would offer five stars, but there were also some delays. Lack of thorough prior inspection of ceiling ductwork before contract signing led to some surprise costs on Day 1 of the install phase. This might have been avoided, saving time by cutting a few holes during on site pre-inspection, which we would have allowed. Mismatched cabinetry parts had to be returned for rework, increasing the project time by some months. Overall we were happy with the final product and look forward to collaborating with Jenny and CDI on home projects in the future. Thank you!

Cabinet Discounters did a great job on our kitchen remodel. Tessa, the designer, spent a lot of time with us, explained things thoroughly, and worked with us to get exactly what we wanted without trying to sell us things we didn't need. She was prompt to let us know if there were any details that had changed. When they started the install they had all the materials on site so the project was always on time. For the few things that came in the wrong size or color they were prompt at finding replacements in a timely manner without letting it delay the work. Andrew, the carpenter who did most of the work, was pleasant to work with, knowledgeable and precise in his work and quick to deal with anything that didn't go according to plan. They came in with on time substantial completion, in spite of it being in 2020 when the pandemic caused others to delay their work. There were no changes to the cost once we signed the contract. The quality of their American made cabinets is excellent. We love our kitchen so much that we are having them do our next project.

Another excellent experience with CABINET DISCOUNTERS! We used a separate installer for the cabinets and backslash as we live in WV. Cabinet Discounters did install the countertops. Plug on the cabinets: not a costly upgrade for the product quality; the adjustable rollout shelves and full door overlays speak for themselves. No need to be twist around a middle separator under a kitchen sink is priceless. We compared prices with a national home improvement chain. You get what you pay for holds true. If you're considering a renovation, put this team at the top of your list. You won't ever be disappointed.

I ordered cabinetry that was delivered damaged and clearly noted with tags still left on the cabinet, marking the imperfections. No one took the time to over look it so it could be fixed. I returned it all for a full refund. Probably won't be going down that road again with Cabinet Discounters.

Very poor service Before I placed my order I asked what the turnaround was for receiving the cabinets. She told me 4 weeks to the day of when she placed the order. So I scheduled the contractor for the 5th week and also requested off work. When I didn’t hear from her after 2 weeks about the delivery date I called her. I was sent an email several days later stating the delivery date was 6 1/2 weeks from the order date. I called and was told that was the delivery date. I said but you told me 4 weeks to the day the order was placed. She said she didn’t know why but that was the date. I told her that I could not get off work then. Could she contact someone to see if they could move up the date? She did and it was moved to the middle of the 5 week. I could work with that. Then I received an email starting to expect a hiccup in the delivery date. Oh and very time I spoke with her and said thank you she would reply with uh huh. The cabinets and the countertops are great. But the service was bad.

It was an easy decision to immediately click on 5 stars without hesitation. Each and every experience we have had with Cabinet Discounters in Columbia has been top notch. In the showroom we were always immediately greeted with a smile. The designers we had the delight to work with were knowledgeable and listened to what we were looking for. They narrowed down the choices for us so we weren't overwhelmed (because there are a lot of choices!). Once we made our selections for cabinetry, countertop material, and hardware it was a smooth and timely experience for them to come out and complete the measure. Every aspect was an enjoyable one where we felt taken care of. Even when there was a minor issue where our contractor accidentally installed an outer cabinet into the corner, a new outside panel was sent within days. Countertops were installed with skill. In short, we are 100% satisfied with Cabinet Discounters of Columbia and highly recommend them.

We are renovating 3 1/2 bathrooms. SueAnn Dressler and Ramzi Haddad have been wonderful to work with. We told them what we wanted and they took it from there. They have designed the bathrooms beautifully and helped us select everything from cabinets to tile and bathroom fixtures. The tile and fixture companies they recommended were excellent. Their attention to even the smallest details was perfect. I would highly recommend them!

Our neighbor had used Cabinet Discounters which made use realize there was a location close to us in Mount Airy. We went in to see what Cabinet Discounters had to offer and we immediately connected with Wendy Ames. The most important part isn't necessarily cabinets from one store to another as they're generally the same, but rather the experience working with the designer and staff. Everybody was extremely helpful, especially Wendy and the Countertop folks. I did the renovation myself (with help from family and friends) and they were very accommodating. For example, when the cabinets were delivered, one of the base cabinets in the island was damaged. They allowed me to set the broken cabinet to do the countertop measurements and delivered the outer countertops one day and the island another after the new cabinet arrived. This was incredibly helpful to giving us a mostly usable kitchen weeks sooner. This was the type of service that I received and was invaluable to keeping my project on track. We are extremely happy with the outcome. Our kitchen is perfect for us and fits the house much better and makes great use of the space

Cabinet Discounters converted a 5'x7' full bath with a bathtub to a full bath with a shower. The project lasted a bit less than two months. The project included moving the bath's drain to a location appropriate for a shower, installing tile in the shower and floor of the bathroom, installing new cabinetry, plumbing fixtures, and countertops.

I am a white collar worker, with an extensive background in agriculture, arboring, and residential construction. I do not have a current relationship with Cabinet Discounters regarding cabinets, but thought a recent event was worthy of mention regarding their marketing methods by one of their truck drivers. I was having a rough morning today, and one of their drivers paid for my breakfast while at a McDonalds Drive through. It made my day!! Of course, I couldn't pay for anyone behind me given that there wasn't anyone (passing on the gesture). It also made me take extra notice of their business. I hope this is a business practice - regardless, it was appreciated. As such, it is refreshing to see a business where their MBA's understand that real revenue is gained through 'long-term' relationships with customers, rather than 'quick cash' at the expense of the customer. As such, having a top-priority focus on customer service, and 'getting value defined by customers to customers' isn't limited to cabinetry, but is an infused corporate mindset extended into every day life. We wanted to let you know that we had a great engagement with Tony. We had spent years waiting to renovate our kitchen and saw a couple in-house professional designers (very expensive) and a number of contractors that offered to design the kitchen at a high price. We did not feel comfortable with any of them for various reasons and continued to delay our kitchen project. When we met Tony and learned of the design approach and the services with Cabinet Discounters we felt comfortable and good about proceeding with the project. Tony was very professional and engaging and it felt right to go ahead and design the kitchen with his skills and experience. As a part of this project, we started with the early design (in the Spring 2018) with intentions to wait until the Fall (2018) time frame to execute the project. I managed it myself by pulling together all the resources per a plan including your cabinet and counter installation resources. Throughout this process, Tony did a great job managing all my wife's and mine adjustments and/or questions as we moved closer to the start date. We were grateful to have someone so patient and caring about our project and happy to help us with all our questions...and we had many prior to to the start, during and after. Further, he helped sort out some confusion a few times with the installation team. And after the project was mostly completed and we had some issues, he was responsive to addressing them and ensured we had satisfactory resolutions. It was a great pleasure to work with Tony on such an important project as I noted we waited many years to finally invest our money and time in this kitchen renovation. Cabinet Discounters Annapolis, Maryland did an absolutely beautiful job in our kitchen. I highly recommend the team led by Joe Inscoe (designer) and Joe Menlo (I believe that is his name), our installer, who performs high quality work and provides excellent customer service. Joe M. accomplished everything well before the expected schedule, helped us with our part, gave us excellent advice on maintenance, and was wonderful to work with. We will definitely use Cabinet Discounters Annapolis again.

He guided us through the process, offered expertise and helpful suggestions, and followed through to ensure everything went smoothly. The cabinets are beautiful and high quality. The only thing discounted is the price; service and quality is exceptional. (Cabinet cost in the range $20-30K.)

Love the cabinets. The staff is great. Everything came in on time per their estimates. My only complaint is that the touch up kits aren't easy to use and don't match that well.

We were generally very pleased with the design services and the quality of the cabinets is top notch. Our projects consisted of a full kitchen renovation, a basement wet bar and a master bathroom in a DC rowhouse. Both the kitchen (pictured) and master bath were A+. Challenging row house issues were identified and addressed in advance in both spaces. There were some attempts at unnecessary upsells - such as a drawer insert that takes the place of a knife block that cost $100 more than a regular drawer insert with slots for silverware - but it seems like every vendor involved in a home renovation does that. However, the wet bar didn't come out as well as we'd hoped. The original design proposed by our designer was way over the top and wouldn't have fit the space due to the low 7' ceiling and radiator pipes that infringed on the space. That led to the removal (by us) of upper cabinets and some other changes to bring the cost down a bit. Despite that, our designer missed the fact that the drawer on one of the cabinets can't open fully (see other picture) due to a support beam. While others - including us - missed that, I consider our designer to have primary accountability, especially given that she came to the house during construction to take measurements. Had that issue been identified at that point, we could have further tweaked the design and purchased one fewer cabinet and shortened the counter, saving at least $500 and opening up the space significantly. Oh, well. The kitchen is truly gorgeous and came out exactly like we wanted!

We are very happy with our cabinets from Cabinet Discounters. They have lots of choices and their cabinets are very high quality. The delivery process was efficient and timely. The cabinets fit perfectly into our space. Their customer service was good and they replaced a damaged cabinet door immediately. We would definitely use them again.

We worked with Lisa Callahan on the remodeling of our three bathrooms. She helped us to design the bathrooms and to select the materials. She was very knowledgeable and professional. During the installation, I wanted to make a change to one off the bathrooms. I dreaded calling Lisa to do this, but she made it happen. We love our new bathrooms!

We used Cabinet Discounters-Springfield Virginia to completely renovate and update our Kitchen. We are extremely pleased with the high quality results, as well as how smoothly the process went. Our designer, Lois Elliot, was a pleasure to work with. Her attention to detail and patience in explaining the pros and cons of various options was invaluable as she educated us and guided us through the decision making process. She drew up detailed plans for all the different components of the project and assisted us in making all of the selections, including the tile and granite which were purchased from different suppliers. Lois was always calm, professional and prepared. During the design process, she brought in the carpenter to verify that some of the structural changes desired would be feasible at reasonable cost. Once the design was approved, and the granite, lighting and tile were selected, we got handed off to the installation team who provided us with a day-by-day schedule. We were impressed that our project started on exactly the day it was scheduled to start. However, we were even more impressed that the project was completed on exactly the day it was scheduled for completion, despite the fact that the five week timeframe included the Thanksgiving holidays! The final cost was also exactly what we were expecting. The end result was a beautiful, highly functional kitchen that feels much more open and has substantially more usable, convenient storage space. The workmanship for the tiling, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry was all first rate. In addition, Cabinet Discounters as an organization came through when the unexpected occurred. When our tile person had to go out of country, they were able to line up some one else to fill in his place between Christmas and New Year’s. When we had the power go out on our refrigerator late on a Saturday night, the electricians were notified and on the phone with us within the hour working through the process. We were very impressed with the organization’s ability to track and follow through on issues. The bottom line is that we are very happy customers who are enjoying our up-to-date, attractive, functional kitchen! When we have another remodeling project, we will be sure to contact Lois at Cabinet Discounters to help us again.

When it was time to remodel our 30+ year old kitchen, I knew three co-workers each with unique styles were delighted with their Cabinet Discounter kitchens, so the first decision was easy. Tessa Kolmus, in the Springfield showroom, designed their kitchens and ours. Tessa was a delight to work with, firmly guiding decisions and keeping the project on track. She was patient, her design suggestions made sense and she was fun and full of energy. I had definite ideas (clean cabinet lines, stacked back-splash tile) and specific features (under cabinet lights, lazy Susan, trash and compost bin) and Tessa helped us with all those details without breaking the budget. Installation was a breeze despite our having guests and packing for a week at the beach. The craftsmen were excellent: our cabinet installer, James, and his assistant were incredibly precise and particular while installing our beautiful Brighton cabinets. What I found particularly telling was the craftsmen praising the work of each other. The tile installer asked for the name of the counter-top installer, the counter-top installer said how perfectly the cabinets were installed. Cabinet Discounters works with awesome craftsmen. Artisans praising artisans, high praise indeed! We are super happy with our new kitchen!

We decided to update our hall bathroom. We had worked with Cabinet Discounters twice before when we remodeled our kitchen and created a study. As a result, selecting Cabinet Discounters for a vanity was easy. Again, the knowledge of the professional sales staff and designers was exceptional. We outlined the functionality we were looking for and the general aesthetic of the bathroom. The designer had captured on paper what we were looking for within 30 minutes. When the actual vanity arrived, the quality of craftsmanship was superior and the look was spot on. If the need for cabinetry arises again, I know where we will go, Cabinet Discounters.

We were very pleased - Katie Kieler helped us with design, product selection, agreeing on price, and stayed in close communication with us and with the installing contractors through demo, installation, plumbing, electric, punch list and final pictures. She was very attentive to our customizations and requests and made her own very helpful suggestions in the design and product selection phase. We had a great result in a relatively tight space that demanded the most of design and selection to achieve functionality and storage and look we wanted. Unbelievable and horrible - cabinets came through the delivery without padding, 12 of 17 doors damaged, scratched or warped. Now the whole kitchen project delayed for God knows how long, in limbo now. Customer service is unresponsive. Gaithersburg, MD office. Would never recommend them.

we have used Cabinet Discounters twice, initially at the rave recommendation of discerning friends. They installed a new kitchen for us and updated 2 bathroom vanities. They were fantastic to work with, very professional, very patient and they work to a very high standard. I couldnt' be happier with their work and the finished product. The affiliated companies they work with were also excellent and I was very happy with the choices on offer. Designers were very helpful and very professional, very accessible. Price was very reasonable, given the high quality of the product and the work.

We found beautiful cabinets (Brighton) at a very good price. Cabinet Discounters is full-service, and we got all of the cabinets, drawer pulls and granite countertop from them. It was easy to work with them, and having renderings of the finished look allowed us to make changes rather than make mistakes. All of the effort invested on Cabinet Discounters' and our part paid off, as we are very happy with the final result, and have exactly the kitchen we'd hoped for.

My experience was terrific. So much so, when it came time for our son to remodel the kitchen in the house he recently purchased, he too looked to Cabinet Discounters to help. My kitchen remodel experience began at the "orange" store. We got began with a kitchen consultant that hadn't been trained yet. She took weeks to provide us with our first iteration, which I hated. Convinced my wife we needed to look elsewhere. After some cajoling and a recommendation from a co-worker, we made an appointment with Cabinet Discounters. Now this was amazing! At the conclusion of our 2 hour (1st meeting), we had a detailed plan in hand of our new kitchen. We did make a few changes, mostly adding cool cabinet features, but really didn't change much from the original. Now that it's done and installed, the true test is would we have changed anything. And honestly, the answer is a resounding NO!

Meg O'Neill with Cabinet Discounters in Annapolis, MD was amazing to work with. Coupled with the ideas that I came forth with from favorite photos on my own Houzz account and her expertise I ended up with a beautiful and functional kitchen and master bath which transformed my home. I was also very satisfied with the craftsmanship and quality of the finished product. The word "Discounters" initially scared me away, I am happy my contractor insisted I visit. One of my neighbors is working with a competitive costly firm and her comment when she saw my kitchen was "wait until I tell me husband what a mistake we made". I recently steered a good friend Meg's way and again, the finished product for my friend's much different kitchen is amazing and transforming. Great company.

We remodeled our kitchen and two bathrooms in a contemporary design which required some customization for purpose and fit. Cabinet Discounters worked closely and attentively with us to create the perfect solution. The high quality of the wood cabinets, the workmanship and the paint finishes were exactly what we ordered. Also, timely delivery and on budget as promised. Our builder performed the installation.

I can't say how wonderful this company was...we put off re-doing our kitchen for quite some time and the results were fantastic. The workers were great, always cleaned up, everything was done on time...I have raved to everyone about them..used Lois in Springfield for design and the workers again were great, courteous and always on time and on schedule!!

My husband and I are completely satisfied with our buying experience with Bill Putiri. He did everything he could to make sure we were not only happy with the cabinets and countertops but that it was exactly what we wanted. Never at any point did we feel pressured to buy. Over the past five years consisting of a master bathroom, laundry room and kitchen remodel, working with Bill has been great. Nothing worse than a high pressure sales experience. To tell the truth, I *almost* didn't go here because I was afraid of a place called "discounters". But I'm SO GLAD I DID!! Lorraine in Columbia is fantastic. She presented a number of options for us, all within our budget. She didn't push anything on us, and she listened to everything we wanted for our new kitchen. We replaced all of our cabinets and countertops, and couldn't be happier with the quality and service. Lorraine was great with the design, prompt with replies. And the workers at the house were so very quick and clean! I can't believe how clean our house was after the old cabinet removal. Would definitely recommend them to anyone~

I've worked with Cabinet Discounters on two bathroom projects. One in my home and one in a client's home. They have a great selection of cabinets ranging in quality from good, better to best. There's something for everyone here. The sales staff is nice, helpful and highly knowledgeable. I will continue to work with them for my cabinet and countertop needs.

I worked with kitchen designer, Claudia Gillespie to design and furnish two custom bathrooms. She worked well with my concept and turned it into a reality for my clients . I look forward to our next quality project.

On July 2014, we embarked on a kitchen remodeling project and purchased Century Cabinetry from Cabinet Discounters. When our contractor started to unbox and assemble the cabinets, we noticed several damaged pieces including a cracked upper cabinet carcass, sloppy paint on cabinet doors, dings, dents and scratches on various cabinets as well as glue protruding from the seam on some of the cabinets (photographs available). Additionally, most of the cabinet doors do not line up correctly. We asked to have all defective parts replaced under warranty in order to minimize schedule delays. Our contractor coordinated with Cabinet Discounters to order the warranty items on Aug 27, 2014. We were told a two week delivery. To date, we have not received the replacement parts almost one month later. Our kitchen remodel is on hold indefinitely. We have been told by our contractor that our order for replacement parts under warranty cannot be expedited. As you can probably imagine, it is difficult to be without a kitchen, let alone suffer additional delays due to what appears to be inefficient business processes and/or negligence on the part of Cabinet Discounters. Cabinet Discounters claims they are committed to providing superior customer service and only offer quality products. Really? Cabinet Discounters need to improve their quality controls, fix broken, sluggish and/or inefficient business processes for replacing defective parts under warranty. This is a major customer service issue. We will most likely never purchase cabinets made by Century Cabinetry or purchased from Cabinet Discounters again. Between poor customer service, lack of quality controls, and inefficient business processes, cabinets made by Century Cabinetry or purchased from Cabinet Discounters are not worth the extra cost savings. Do yourself a favor and purchase cabinets from Home Depot or Lowes. You will probably get better customer service.

Jim Polzin of Cabinet Discounters worked with us in 2011 on a kitchen re-do in a co-op. He's now helping us with a kitchen re-do in our house. He is knowledgeable, has a great eye for details, and he is very easy to work with.

From start to finish our experience with Cabinet Discounters (CD) was superb. Key (NOTE: VERY IMPORTANT) to the process was having an extraordinary kitchen consultant, Ms Lois Elliott, and as a result great cabinets that we love. Mid way through a small kitchen remodel we decided to include new cabinets. We interviewed three different cabinet companies including CD because three other folks whose kitchens we liked had used them and by chance they had Lois Elliott as their Designer. A word about the other two companies. One was recommended by our contractor; that kitchen designer called our existing kitchen, stupid and ugly. And while that might have been the truth, it did not endear us to him. We also looked at replacing the cabinets with the same brand we had that were 25 years old and still in fairly good shape. That designer/owner was helpful. But the price was 50% more...out of our price range. Lois took us through the design process step by step. She was incredibly patient with us. She answered all our questions and made great suggestions. She slowly guided us over several visits, there was NO rushing at all. She made a house call to do measurements and to make sure suggestions she had made in the office fit in the house. She listened to what our kitchen needs were and never tried to push us into anything that was not right for us. At one point, we got the idea of moving the refrigerator. She very kindly and politely showed us why that was not a good idea. Another example, she did not let us pick the final stain color for the cabinets without taking two favorite samples to the granite fabricators to make sure we were making the correct choice. The product: The cabinets are lovely wood, well stained and finished. The one set with glass doors is lovely, just what we wanted. We have recommended CD, (they should change their name to something more descriptive like Quality Cabinets with Extraordinary Designers. We have recommended Lois Elliott to a number of our friends. Everyone who sees our kitchen says oooh and ahhhh

While the outcome of Cabinet Discounters' work was satisfactory, the “process” was so bad we will never use them again. Numerous mistakes along the way caused the job (redoing both full baths in our house) to take twice as long. For example, the shower door installer ruined one finished bath by trying to install the door in the wrong bath. Worse, and unbelievably, CD did not finish the first bath before starting and making substantial progress on the second! The last straw, however, was that CD refused to take responsibility for making sure that the tile and grout purchased were what was needed to do the job (the customer has the nominal responsibility to buy the tile, but CD neither gave us proper instruction for doing this nor checked our work). It wasn’t just the result – the wrong grout was used in each bathroom, one of the causes of the delays experienced – but the fact that up and down the company, from the salesman and the scheduler to the troubleshooter and ultimately the co-owner, they refused to acknowledge any responsibility for the mistakes that were caused. More than one representative persisted in blaming us. This is a company to avoid.

We had a vision for what we wanted and it turned out way better than expected. The Brighton Cabinets are furniture grade, we went with Dupont Zodiac instead of granite because I didn't want any maintenance. We did a Corian back splash with a subway tile cut and now that is the in thing. We went with a floating floor that looked like ceramic tile. We took out the formal dining area because we never used it. The process took a month, but was well worth it. The kitchen is the center of the home.

I had a great experience working with the people at Cabinet Discounters in Gaithersburg. We did a complete renovation of most of our first floor, including a full new expanded kitchen. I worked mostly with Mike Bliss who is a master of his craft, but when he was not available when I showed up spontaneously to ponder options, everyone was helpful and full of suggestions. They helped me to make decisions at all levels: cabinet wood, finish, style, handles. The final kitchen is beautiful, of the best quality, and their follow up service for small things that I chose to modify was excellent.

I am still pinching my self and asking...is this really my kitchen. Upon recommendation I selected Tessa as a consultant. She was FABULOUS!!! She understood what I wanted and transformed my 1970's kitchen into a modern attractive workspace. The Brighton cabinets are furniture quality with the option to add the bells and whistles that make them convenient and fully functioning. The Cambria quartz countertops are awesome. From first consultation until final walk thru, I found Tessa and all associated with Cabinet Discounters extremely helpful and more than willing to do that something extra to make sure my kitchen project ran smoothly and I ended up with the kitchen of my dreams. The work was completed on time. However, this project was an utter disaster. From the onset, I was under the impression that they were going to help us pick out kitchen cabinets, countertops, backsplash, lighting for a complete and coordinated look. I was mortified that after the contract was signed that this was not the case. Our kitchen is a complete disaster. This was one horrific nightmare. I had no idea that we needed a kitchen designer before we started this process. You would think that they would provide this service for you given the 40k-50k you are investing. No such thing. Thank you Cabinet Discounters for ruining my home.
