Instead of having to buy a new gas fireplace due to a carbon monoxide problem, as three different places told me I would have to do, Ryan from Wammoth thoroughly cleaned the fireplace and re-set the logs, and the CO problem was gone! There are many brands of fireplaces out there and it is foolish to expect a repair-person to know them all. Plus, Vermont Castings is no longer making the model I have. Ryan also told us that we should have the chimney checked, especially since the cap at the top was tilted and that might also inhibit a proper draft through the flue. He recommended a firm that came out was was every bit as professional as he was. My wife and I are extremely pleased that we got to keep the fireplace we love - and not spending thousands of dollars on something we didn't need is also a good thing. Now I know that I was supposed to have the fireplace cleaned annually [it hadn't been in 20 years] and I am calling Wammoth to do that task. You should call them too for any fireplace need. I really don't think you'll be disappointed.”
