Sarah helped us to design the remodel of our house. She helped us make it much more functional along with appealing.

I have worked with Sarah/Milieu on two big projects. On the first one in 2014, Sarah designed our house from the ground up. We came to her with an idea ( We wanted a modern outbuilding with cozy places to sit) and with this brief sketch in her head she designed our perfect house. No, actually we got the house we wanted but didn't have the imagination to come up with. She worked night and day to come up with what we now are so happy to call home. The second project which was completed in 2016 was to completely remodel a 1948 home built on a great sight, but with 1948 stuff in it. It was down to the walls and floor for this job. Her design brought ( Actually our daughters family) a home that is now modern on the inside, but with the same look on the outside. This project was on a tight budget and with Sarah's handpicked finishes and color schemes it came out with money left over ( great job to our builder too). I can really not say enough good things about Sarah/Milieu. When you work with her she gives you way more than you pay for!!

The kitchen remodel, and new flooring in primary living areas of my home were designed by Milieu. When the remodeled area was completed, it acquired a wonderfully new look and feel. Working with Sarah was excellent, which began with meetings prior to conceptual design, and continued to completion of the project. Her exceptional and perceptive design capabilities, and a very knowledgeable familiarity with the many types of materials and products, are attributes that come to mind when reflecting on the myriad of options and choices that are available for a remodeling project. I am extremely grateful to Sarah for making the kitchen remodel and new flooring a very nice and satisfying addition to my home.

Sarah is great. My wife and I used her over an 18 month period for help with the siting, design, build, and furnishing of a new contemporary. The project was in conjunction with Copeland Architect. Sarah knows her stuff and is very gifted. She listens, is creative, has a keen eye, excellent taste, knows quality, and the difference between quality and price (she is sensitive to budgets and has much common sense, especially when it comes to kitchens and baths). This project turned out great, we owe her much thanks.

Our project was well designed. One year after completion, we find that all our "must haves" were achieved. Our home is functional, easy to maintain, full of light and comfortable.

We have use Milieu, Sarah, on two major remodel and design projects. Our first project has brought outstanding reviews from many local residents and realtors in the community. Her attention to detail and keen eye of coordinating just the right material and design are outstanding. Our second project is a multi-million dollar endeavor. This project is located in Florida, 3200 miles away. Sarah never wavered on accepting this assignment. East coast contractor's are quite different than our west cost thoughts and idea's, and comes with different challenges. Sarah, is relentless on accomplishing her clients goals. Milieu always delivers an outstanding project.

When Sarah contacted us to inquire about our product and the openness of our Cascade design for a custom home stair railing, we never realized the impact our metal panels could have when she visualized our product in her design composition. Our Cascade pattern was originally designed with a vertical orientation in mind. The use of our pattern in a horizontal orientation and parallel to the slope of the stair creates a feeling of motion for a dynamic experience at the residence entry foyer.
