I have worked with Katrina Mullinax, the owner of Homeworks, on several projects, ranging from kitchen and bath renovations to new construction. Her full service design studio and cabinet showroom offer creative and tasteful design solutions, sophisticated material selections and high quality cabinetry - traditional, transitional and modern European styles. I continue to go back to Homeworks, and I am happy to refer my clients to Katrina and/or collaborate on designs with her. Each design is customized to her client’s needs, aesthetics and budget. She guides her clients thru the process from design to installation, and creates “contractor friendly” detailed drawings for her installers and any other trades people working on the project. I love, love, love my Kitchen! Katrina designed my kitchen using Artcraft cabinets in grey, white, & walnut. It is stunning. She then created a layout that made a beautiful, efficient & functional kitchen that's a pleasure to cook in every day. Homeworks was retained to design, procure and install the cabinetry for my new home. They were extremely easy to deal with, provided good options and advice during the design phase, followed up on-site to ensure the installation went smoothly and were a pleasure to deal with regarding post-project extras. Katrina designed a wall of cabinetry for my dining room, including a buffet area. I specifically wanted lighted cabinets to display a collection of early and mid-century colorful ceramics, along with wine storage and self-closing drawers. There ended up being challenges because one of the walls was missing drywall (had been behind glass), the walls were not plum and electrical required redirection--. Katrina was able to effectively manage the correction of these defects with tradesmen. The cabinetry was exactly the same as the sample door and looks great. All aspects of the project were done professionally, timely, and to budget. I highly recommend Katrina and homeworks cabinetry.

Katrina was instrumental and inspirational in her design assistance. Besides helping us with suggestions and decisions regarding our kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanity, laundry center and master closet, she helped us put the whole house together with added time selecting interior and exterior colors. In the last 3 years, Katrina has re-designed our kitchen and two bathrooms. Homeworks Cabinetry + Design, under the excellent direction of Katrina Mullinax, helped renovate our parents' home in Tucson with exquisite good taste and common sense. Katrina prepared a full palette of colors when we first went to see her and drew out a plan for the kitchen, laundry room, living room shelves, four bathrooms and a library, all of which are both beautiful and practical. She helped us find modern appliances that were excellent quality without being over the top financially. My sister and I admire her professionalism and gracious manner. Katrina is one of the best designers I work with. She does her research and planning to make her projects beautiful and functional. Her drawings are comlete and available to me in AutoCad. This makes the construction flow with a minimum number of questions. I highly recommend using her.
