Sara designed a remodel project for my apartment in an historic building in lower Manhattan. The project involved a gut renovated kitchen, new floors for the whole apartment and a new built-in closet and hidden workspace. I could not be more pleased with the results and absolutely love the apartment. After five years I’m still marveling at how well thought out every detail is. Sara is an outstanding designer. She worked with my husband and I on a combination of our two apartments. We needed someone who had the vision to help us see the potential of the combination and then to project manage the construction. Sara was able to take the lead working with our architect, general contractor and interior designer. We would not have been able to do the project without her! When you are remodeling and expanding an old house in a traditional upscale neighborhood and the neighbors walk by on a regular basis to comment on how beautiful it is coming along, you know that you are doing it right. That is the case with our 1937 art deco style home, and large part of the credit legitimately belongs to Pash Design. Projects of this kind are challenging and expensive. You want to preserve the unique architecture of the property that originally captivated you but then you face the reality of modern codes/requirements and the unexpected expenses that go along with it. This is where Pash truly shined on our project. Every element of design, convenience, functionality and style that Pash recommended was a tribute to our home's past converted into an elevation towards the future. This is no small task...especially when financial considerations are involved. Pash's work lives in every corner of our house. The exquisiteness of every bathroom or living area. The attention to detail down to the last nook. Pash understands that everything is personal when you are dealing with someone's home. Most of all, Pash's level of customer service is incomparable for the world of home construction. The process is very frustrating and Pash played a big role in minimizing the stress that nearly every seemingly minor decision generates. Being a team player with the other personalities involved in a job is also difficult. Pash exceled there too. It is rare for a family that just underwent an arduous construction project to extol the virtues of a principal contractor once it comes to an end. The fact that we are doing this on behalf of Pash should speak volumes.

Our family has been lucky to have Pash Design help with the remodel of our home. In addition to a full remodel of 4 bathrooms, we wanted to create a clean, simple and more modern look throughout the house. Sara took all our wishes into account and was able to present us with a thorough and detailed plan. Sara is an experienced designer and has access to extensive resources for goods and services. She has an excellent understanding of construction elements, and collaborated well with our contractor and all people involved.
