Claudia Pakes Design Studio

Claudia Pakes did a complete kitchen and powder room remodel for me. Claudia helped with cabinetry, floor tile, counter tops, appliances, fixtures, paint color, window shades, rugs - the whole process from A to Z. The result is truly awesome. The project presented some design challenges, especially the powder room - a small room with an awkward shower. Claudia turned it into a lovely integrated space with stand-out design features. The kitchen too is stunning. She was easy to work with - and fun as well. And didn't even complain when it took seven tries to find the right rug.

Claudia Pakes was referred to me by a previous client, who was happy with her completed project. I was a bit intimidated about calling a designer but knew I couldn’t design our new kitchen, baths and family room on my own. Claudia and Andrea came to our house for an interview and listened to our ideas, they were professional and fun to work with which really put us at ease. After hearing our ideas, they presented several design options for us to pick and choose from. Mood boards were presented, making it easier to visualize what our project would look like. Our project was small by many standards, but too overwhelming for me. I appreciated that Claudia and Andrea listened to my ideas and told me what would work and what would not. They made it easy, so that all aspects of the design were cohesive and beautifully coordinated. Without Claudia’s Design Studio my kitchen and living spaces may have ended in a hodgepodge of tiles, colors and furniture.
