Greetings! My name is Troy and when I was searching for a designer and builder to manage a MAJOR remodeling project, I asked a friend who had completed a renovation. They were adamant that I check in with Linda and Mark Evans of L Evans Design Group. I did what my friend recommended and I am so glad that I did. I have worked with a number of home improvement contractors over the years but Linda and Mark provided a level of competency and service that is rare within the industry. The six-month project kicked off in January of 2020. Who knew that we would face a pandemic in a few short months? Even with such obstacles, the demolition, build, and finish of the project continued within the timeline and budget promised by Linda and Mark. I can’t express how cared for I felt during the process. Every morning I awoke to an email explaining what would unfold during the coming day. Our safety and comfort were of primary importance to Linda and Mark as we made our way through shifting recommendations related to COVID. On the rare occasion that something had not been done perfectly (and I mean perfectly), Linda made sure to get someone to the construction site to make a repair or rebuild. Linda Evans did a near full-house remodel for us, including kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room, flooring, interior and exterior paint, roof, and deck. Her subcontractors are top-notch and they clearly enjoy working for her. She is extremely knowledgeable and collaborative, and stands behind all she does. Her project management skills are excellent, keeping complex projects running smoothly and on time. She anticipates and solves problems that arise, coming up with thoughtful suggestions about how to manage whatever the situation is. We couldn't give her a higher rating.

Linda responded extremely quickly when I contacted her to talk about taking over a bathroom project, and then came to my house shortly after. Her time and people management, communication, and delivery of quality cannot be beat! Her team is an amazing and cohesive group of talented individuals and she was able to coordinate around my unusual and inconvenient work schedule. Thanks to Linda and her design group, we took our very dated 1970's master bathroom from turquoise formica and pink vinyl flooring, with an oversized tub and a window that was falling off the frame to a sleek, modern and well-appointed Master Bath in three months. It was a sizeable task installing walls, completely renovating the shower and tub, putting in a new window and floating a tilting floor, plus building new vanity with stone top, a floating cabinet and a heated towel bar. She was diligent, creative, thorough, detailed, and professional. Everything turned out beautifully. We highly recommend this Group.

I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am with L. Evans Design Group. Such a creative and innovating company to work with. We are remodeling our kitchen and living room and the new design is exactly what we were looking for. Linda really listens to what you are wanting and then follows through with the design and finished remodel. She has every detail down and doesn't miss a beat! This is the second project that Linda has done for us. The first was a basement and bath, it turned out great. The most recent was a full kitchen remodel which include removing a couple walls, new hardwood floors, custom railing and a hall bath remodel. I can't tell you how much I love and appreciate her expertise and guidance. She is very detailed oriented and makes sure everything gets done right. We had built before, added an addition and also remodeled so we had some idea of the process. Enter Linda Evans Design Group. The ONLY difficult thing about writing this review is to generate enough adjectives about Linda to do justice to the magnitude of expertise she brought to our project. Fundamentally, and most powerful is that she is comprehensively trustworthy. If you don't have trust, you have chronic anxiety. Linda has this unique ability to listen, envision, concretize your verbal ideas into direct images, "see" colors and light as they interact together, create a flow from room to room you can't imagine in the preliminary design stages. Special note of Linda's expertise in developing a lighting plan. We are thrilled with her amazing detail in combining the practical aspects of type, style and light output with the intangible "feel" every fixture puts out in the flow of the rooms. A well developed plan illuminated every room to a degree we could not have imagined in our minds. But the "nuts and bolts" of the design/building process were almost as powerful as the actual designs themselves. As owners, we were aware of the need to integrate, communicate and facilitate all the subcontractors and their specialized contribution. Linda only refers to the best and without exception--every sub she recommended and used for us was outstanding and mirrored Linda's trustworthiness. Linda's past experience as a general contractor enabled her to note, question, and suggest ideas and concerns for us along the way that allowed us to be involved in some small changes that were important to get the look and function we wanted on a coastal home. We had been planning to remodel our kitchen for months but felt overwhelmed with the mountain of details involved. We were stuck and unable to take the first steps. Linda came to our home and spent several hours with us to help us with the design and planning. I love that she is not timid in telling us what in our plans would not be the best for our situation resulting in saving us time and money. She took our original plans and made significant improvements that were creative as well as practical. We ended up with design plans that were better than I had dreamed of. She has a wealth of knowledge gained by her 30+ years of experience and understands every step of the remodel process: design, how to work with City/County jurisdictions, referrals for contractors, project management, timelines, and predicted costs.
