This private residence went all out when it came to their pool and spa combination. This infinity style pool is attached to a spa separated by a wood block walkway. If you are siting in the spa, the water spills over into a custom water and fire feature. This spa is 100% custom built for this residence. The pool features four stainless steel bar stools which look over the side yard and the lake. The custom rock feature acts as a bar to rest your drinks on during a beautiful summer day. The pool section of this is 24′-4″ has a depth of 3′-11″ throughout. The pool’s side facing the lake is a perfect infinity style pool which makes the pool look like it runs right into the lake. The spa and fire feature attached the pool add more to this custom look. The spa is large enough for 4-6 bathers and features 16 of Bradford’s commercial hydrotherapy jets, as well as a custom spill over that falls into the fire feature. The pool came shipped in two sections, while the spa and fire feature all came in one piece. Bradford sent their highly skilled craftsmen to the site to make the final touches on this vessel to truly bring this homeowners idea to life.

Having a shaded outdoor dining room was a must-have for this family. We built an outdoor bar to complete the space, with under counter storage, a refrigerator and freezer, a sink with garbage disposal, and an Instahot Instant Hot Water Heater for warm beverages in the evenings or on chilly days spent dining outside by the fire pit.

A sauna was custom-built within the pool house. Cedar was used for the walls, ceiling, and benches. The variation in the shades of the cedar lumber contrasts with the uniform 3x36” black tile floor. Small LED lights provide just enough illumination to be able to see inside the sauna while still being able to relax. LED lighting was used throughout this entire project, as it is not only energy-efficient, but provides more lumens per wattage and a longer lifetime.

This modern/transitional design included a 50' infinity pool and spa, a pavilion with a large outdoor kitchen, bathroom, and fireplace, and other great features like terraced travertine patios, a 10' fire pit behind the infinity edge, cable handrails, LED lighting, landscaping, a paver driveway extension, and an in-ground trampoline!

This custom pool and spa features an infinity edge with a tile spillover and beautiful cascading water feature. The open air gable roof cabana houses an outdoor kitchen with stainless steel appliances, raised bar area and a large custom stacked stone fireplace and seating area making it the ideal place for relaxing or entertaining.

This large backyard had an impressive infinity pool, hot tub, waterfalls and outdoor fireplace, but needed some cozying up. Susan Currie Design reconfigured the layout for outdoor furniture to make the space functional and inviting. Near the grill, we have a set of tables and chairs for quiet afternoon lunches in the shade. Another seating area in front of the fireplace welcomes dinner guests to linger over drinks and stargaze in the evening. By the pool, chaises and a small side table are perfect for relaxing with a book or magazine. Teal fabric on the newly upholstered seating and umbrella in a teal color scheme tie in with aqua color of the pool water, and make the seating areas feel cool and refreshing. Under the covered porch, the homeowners have what are essentially an outdoor living room and dining room. Close to the house, these areas are easy to bring food and drinks out to from inside, and offer a delightful view of the pool and surrounding yard. Because it is covered, this area will stay cooler through much of the day than the rest of the yard, but black drapes are available to close off the area to any direct sun that may find its way in, and add a dramatic finishing touch. An Indonesian teak log planted with succulents brings life to the dining table.

After building 2 other pools for this wonderful client, this property was in need of something special! A Perimeter overflow infinity pool & spa, with automated Water & fire features! Stunning glass tile sets the tone for entertainment and something for us all to be proud of!

This infinity edge all-tile pool and spa is surrounded by a cut leuders limestone deck. Dallas and Fort Worth architect Ralph Duesing designed the main house, garage and cabana. M. M. Moore managed the construction of the grounds, hardscape and pool.
