When it was time to update their small and poorly functional master bath, these homeowners approached Renovisions for help. The small 5’x8’ size constraints was a challenge but ‘Team Renovisions’ was up for the task and came up with a beautiful creative use of space which incorporates a spacious walk-in shower, a curved furniture-styled vanity with porcelain lavatory top, a sleek and energy efficient luxury performance toilet, with faucet and shower fixtures in chrome finish. Safety is a must for our projects and this decorative grab bar that matches the towel holder accessories is evidence of that as it provides both functional and aesthetic attributes. 18”x18” porcelain tiles in a brown marble pattern was a great choice as these over-sized tiles increased the feeling of the room while the rich cherry finish of the vanity complimented the brown veining of the tile nicely. This newly remodeled master bath is clearly an example of making the most out of a small space. Beauty, functionality and style – it has it all!

A large, less restrictive space can sometimes be a challenge to remodel as the possibilities are truly unlimited. The goal was to create a functional and warm space that still felt open, clean and utilized the large space well. Custom glass panel cabinetry with sliding doors and a central drawer bank features ample storage and even multiple standard outlets inside. Vessel sinks sit atop the custom quartz counters that compliment the stone resin free standing bath. On the back side of the central wall is a walk in, from both sides, his and hers shower. Custom tile through out ties both sides of this large bath together. The shower features multiple niches.

Complete bathroom remodel. this project was taken down to the studs. Custom design vanity with spa tower which incorporates a styling tools drawer, shallow makeup drawers and plenty of functional storage. Free standing tub with wall-mounted plumbing and hand sprayer.

Gardner/Fox designed and updated this home's master and third-floor bath, as well as the master bedroom. The first step in this renovation was enlarging the master bathroom by 25 sq. ft., which allowed us to expand the shower and incorporate a new double vanity. Updates to the master bedroom include installing a space-saving sliding barn door and custom built-in storage (in place of the existing traditional closets. These space-saving built-ins are easily organized and connected by a window bench seat. In the third floor bath, we updated the room's finishes and removed a tub to make room for a new shower and sauna.

Dual custom vanities provide plenty of space for personal items as well as storage. Brushed gold mirrors, sconces, sink fittings, and hardware shine bright against the neutral grey wall and dark brown vanities.

This large master bath features Arizona Tile's Metalwood Iridio on the shower walls, Bedrosians Hampton Seaside Glass Mosiac tile for the accent tile in the shower, and Emser Tile's Baja Mexicali Mosiac tile in the shower pan. The bathtub is Hydrosystems Studio Whirlpool tub and all faucets in this bathroom are from MOEN. The vanity is from Starmark in their Farmington Cherry Wood with a Java stain. The floors are white marble and the marble is brought up to wainscot height in the water closet with a heavy chair rail in a matching white marble. Above the chair rail is a gorgeous tone on tone damask wallpaper. The freestanding tub sits in front of a custom designed floor length mirror. White marble chair rail pieces were used to craft the outer portion of the frame and mother of pearl mosaics were used for the inner frame and then completed with a small piece of chair ail. The mosaic tile is repeated behind the vanities in lieu of the standard 4” marble backsplash and topped with a pencil rail out of marble. The double cabinets on each end of the vanities allow for plentiful storage and offer the opportunity to create a valance connecting the two. The depth allows for recessed lighting to be tucked out of site and just a sliver of trim finishes off the edges of the mirror. The barrel tray is magically transformed into a soft pearlized finish with just a hint of color swirled magically, reflecting beautifully with the enhancement of rope lighting hidden by the cove molding. Architectural designer, Nicole Delaney worked her magic again as always. Schonbek crystal chandeliers and sconces adorn the bath and quality of the crystal is noted by the colors created by the prisms dancing so gloriously around the room. Behind the mirror are double entrances into a steam shower. Laser-cut listello and custom designed wall panel from Renaissance Tile adorn the walls and niches of which there are several at various heights. The silk rug is from Stark and the ottoman was brought from their previous home and is from the Baker furniture line. A beautiful inlay tray from BoJay designs holds multiple bath products. A traditional style master bath for a lovely couple on Harbour Island in Oxnard. Once a dark and drab space, now light and airy to go with their breathtaking ocean views!

This 1930's Barrington Hills farmhouse was in need of some TLC when it was purchased by this southern family of five who planned to make it their new home. The renovation taken on by Advance Design Studio's designer Scott Christensen and master carpenter Justin Davis included a custom porch, custom built in cabinetry in the living room and children's bedrooms, 2 children's on-suite baths, a guest powder room, a fabulous new master bath with custom closet and makeup area, a new upstairs laundry room, a workout basement, a mud room, new flooring and custom wainscot stairs with planked walls and ceilings throughout the home. The home's original mechanicals were in dire need of updating, so HVAC, plumbing and electrical were all replaced with newer materials and equipment. A dramatic change to the exterior took place with the addition of a quaint standing seam metal roofed farmhouse porch perfect for sipping lemonade on a lazy hot summer day. In addition to the changes to the home, a guest house on the property underwent a major transformation as well. Newly outfitted with updated gas and electric, a new stacking washer/dryer space was created along with an updated bath complete with a glass enclosed shower, something the bath did not previously have. A beautiful kitchenette with ample cabinetry space, refrigeration and a sink was transformed as well to provide all the comforts of home for guests visiting at the classic cottage retreat. The biggest design challenge was to keep in line with the charm the old home possessed, all the while giving the family all the convenience and efficiency of modern functioning amenities. One of the most interesting uses of material was the porcelain "wood-looking" tile used in all the baths and most of the home's common areas. All the efficiency of porcelain tile, with the nostalgic look and feel of worn and weathered hardwood floors. The home’s casual entry has an 8" rustic antique barn wood look porcelain tile in a rich brown to create a warm and welcoming first impression. Painted distressed cabinetry in muted shades of gray/green was used in the powder room to bring out the rustic feel of the space which was accentuated with wood planked walls and ceilings. Fresh white painted shaker cabinetry was used throughout the rest of the rooms, accentuated by bright chrome fixtures and muted pastel tones to create a calm and relaxing feeling throughout the home. Custom cabinetry was designed and built by Advance Design specifically for a large 70” TV in the living room, for each of the children’s bedroom’s built in storage, custom closets, and book shelves, and for a mudroom fit with custom niches for each family member by name. The ample master bath was fitted with double vanity areas in white. A generous shower with a bench features classic white subway tiles and light blue/green glass accents, as well as a large free standing soaking tub nestled under a window with double sconces to dim while relaxing in a luxurious bath. A custom classic white bookcase for plush towels greets you as you enter the sanctuary bath.

Light gray leaf patterned mosaic tile accented with falling darker gray leaves creates an interesting motif in this master shower. A pretty shade of blue-gray is perfect for the vanity.
