Close up view of the dining gazebo and it's flooring made of slate nugget gravel: an inexpensive way to create a stable, well drained surface. Lush gardens that attract birds, butterflies and hummingbirds, surround the gazebo for added interest.
The Center has a fire-pit that is covered by Brazilian marble during warmer months, and is used as a coffee table. During colder months, the marble top is removed to use the fire-pit.
I designed this garden terrace to solve both the problem of access to the dock as well as gaining new usable space. The boulders are gravity set, natural Florida limestone.
