This project represents the evolution of a 10 acre space over more than three decades. It began with the pool and space around it. As the vegetable garden grew, the orchard was established and the display gardens blossomed. The prairie was restored and a kitchen was added to complete the space. Example of a classic backyard concrete patio kitchen design in Seattle with a gazebo

This space was completely empty, void of everything except the flooring tiles. All the containers and plantings, the patterned turf in the flooring, ornaments, and fixtures were part of the design. It spans three sides of the penthouse, extending the dining and living space out into the open. Outdoor rooms are created with the alignment of fixtures and placement of furniture. The custom designed water feature is both a wall to separate the dining and living spaces and a work of art on its own. A shade system offers relief from the scorching sun without permanently blocking the view from the dining room. A frosted glass wall on the edge of the kitchen brings privacy and still allows light to filter into the space. The south wall is lined with planters to add some privacy and at night are lit as a focal point.

Inspiration for a timeless patio remodel in Chicago

Enhanced curb appeal for the front and a face-lift for the pool, spa and outdoor patio space in the backyard; all result in tranquil outdoor living for these Dallas, TX home owners. We designed the custom patio to include unique, full-color plank Pennsylvania Bluestone on the deck that resembles a wood floor pattern. The patio deck leads out to an outdoor kitchen and bar covered by a custom pergola of smooth cedar finished in white matching the aesthetic of the home. Continuing the cohesiveness, we used the same full-color plank Bluestone for the small patio outside the outdoor pool house as well as smooth thermal Pennsylvania Bluestone for the spa, pool coping, and step pads around the pool. http://www.onespecialty.com/enduring-springs/
