C Wright Design HI! Yes, I think you can do that or carry it throughout the Kitchen, depending on the amount of use/abuse the walls will be getting. I would go with a full splash where you use one. One option would be to use the same material throughout. Another would be to put a different material such as stainless directly behind the range and use a stone or tile for the other areas. Good luck and feel free to ask more questions!
C Wright Design P.S. I mean a full height splash...
C Wright Design Thanks. So you would like to leave the existing 4" splash by the fridge and put new splash at the range and sink walls?
C Wright Design Also, moving the outlet is less of a big deal if you are going to install a full height backsplash as you will not need to repair the wall and, as Chroma has noted, you will just tile around it...Good luck!
Chroma Design Yes, again, I say you're fine without it next to the fridge. It would be desirable for a cohesive look but it is not uncommon for a stretch of countertop such as that to be without a backsplash. The important part is the sink and stove areas which you intend to do. Pick a great tile and good luck. Btw, I like your light, I'm sure you'll pick something terrific.

Debrae Little Interiors Thank you for your question. I'm glad you like the pillows. The silhouette (baseball player) and patch work pillows were custom made, but the pillow shams and bedding were purchased online from Serena & Lily.

C Wright Design Hi Juanita, Without having seen the new stone for the island I can't be sure, but it sounds as though it has a fair amount of visual movement and the Carrerra marble might be too much with it. If you put them side by side I think you will know right away. Good luck!
juanita007 C wright. Yes your right it does have alot of movement. It actually is very light and almost watery looking. Ill try to get the photo off my camera and put it up. I guess white subway tile would look best. The quartz is the closest thing I could find to the Carrerra marble I would love but don't want to be so worried over staining ect. I've got two children and don't want them to feel like they can't relax baking or eating off the island. The green veining when your not right up to it looks grey. It's very soft looking. Now the backsplash will be my only problem finding. Oh it's so difficult. When your a type a everything is questionable. Photo of my kitchen is coming up.

C Wright Design Hi Marie, Buying a new phone is the top solution, as the previous people have commented. If for some reason you need to keep this phone, I do have a few clients with large multi-line phones who keep them hidden on a shelf in their nightstands. Good luck!

C Wright Design Hi there! Your overall look is good. Easy and good places to add color are throw pillows, accessories and rug.
BeyondFrames Hm......what if you just paint an area, up to the railing maybe and you frame it with mouldings ?!? I have to think about it. Or, even better maybe, paint the wall from the dinning area, move the gold painting there and go on with redecorating repeating the color scheme throughout the space.
you could even add some picture lighting. Ikea surely has cheaper ones and, if only on silver finish , you could spray paint it .

You could also change the white paint with a soft light grey.
move the love seat on the wall with window and find some art with dark blue and gold or some metal work to hang above it.

I'm not sure though where is the upper window.... isn't it on the other side of the stairs?

C Wright Design Hi there! Could you please post a few pictures of the house so we can all better help you? Also, please note what colors the house and shutters are now if it isn't clear from the photos. Thanks!

C Wright Design Hi there! Could you please post a picture of the area above the windows so we can see how much room there is above the windows? It might look great to use a simple roman shade in the color of the painted window trim and mounted at the ceiling so they do not block the windows when they are in the open (stacked) position. This will soften the window walls and finish the room. A few light-colored throw pillows would also look good in the mix. Or...you could use the red lamp shade and pillow covers in the winter months and change them out to a creamy color in the summer months. Good luck!

C Wright Design Thanks for the reply. This should still work if you would like to dress the windows. Are the top windows operational?

C Wright Design The room looks good in this most recent picture as it has more light.

Limelight Interiors This is a beautiful space and the right window treatments will be the crown jewel! Have you considered leaving the transoms uncovered? You could inject some natural texture ( pulling the outdoors, in) by installing reed or grass cloth blinds. Roller blinds will retract to take up the least amount of window surface and a valance made from the same material would finish the blinds nicely. Another alternative is to install lined drapery panels at intervals (having several panels will reduce the bulk and will allow maximum light into the room) Combine blinds and drapery panels for a third option! Either way, I'd leave the transom uncovered. Good luck! Browse photos from Houzz under"sunrooms" (type in search bar)

ReMax - Lisa If it is ruined, and you paid with your Visa, check if you have Purchase insurance on the Visa. Mine has 90 day purchase protection for any issue within first 90 days of purchase. Loss, damage, theft. You may be covered.... Hope so. My steamer specifically says not to use on wood or laminate flooring. I just use on tiles.

C Wright Design Darn. I'm so sorry. Did the floors have the film when they were installed or has it just been since the steam cleaning? If they had the film from the start, what did the installer say about the film?

Jenny Derry Design I'm not sure where you live, but Belmont Hardware has great pulls in all different styles. They have a nice online site where you can browse all of their manufacturers. Better idea: Call them and tell them what you're looking for - they'll direct you to a few manufacturers that have the style you need - and then you can browse the online catalogs. Best of all, they have great customer service.

C Wright Design Hi there! I would also check Restoration Hardware. They are affordable and usually in stock. You can purchase a few styles and try them on the cabinet doors and drawers. Good luck!

C Wright Design Good job with the Photoshop! Be sure to try the actual samples with the table at your house in your light. I like either the 1st or 2nd depending on what else you have going on. Of those two, which one do you like better as your overall flooring? They are very different looks!
tcufrog I like the idea of taking a color from the table for your floor. There are so many to choose from one that should work.
Missdecor Montreal thanks everyone I am now more comfortable with my options :) Ed I am sure a light floor is best with this table but I have been waiting for a long time to move to the darker side so I am not changing my mind :)
