Cynthia went on to work in architectural firms in San Francisco, gaining experience in commercial and residential design on a wide range of projects. She started C Wright Design in 1981. Over the last 30 years she has established a collaborative environment within her office and recognizes everyone's role in making C Wright Design one of the most successful interior design firms in the Bay Area. Hi Betsy! Could you get us some photos so we can all see where the brick occurs, the look of the house, the color of the natural stone around the planter boxes, etc.? Then we can all chime in to help you. Thanks!

Hello Whitney,

Firstly I would strongly suggest you consider a subway tile or larger glass. The variation in you granite is small and therefore a mosaic will compete. Using white might feel stark so perhaps something in a lighter grey.

I'm not sure if this is available in your area but Ceragres offers a series called Liverpool. It's a 3x10 pillowed subway. The elongated size lends itself to be more contemporary, while the pillowed edge is more classic. It is offered in a light grey (Portland) which I think would work great in your space. The photo on the website doesn't represent the colour truly. (Here it is in white)

Hi there. I agree with the comments above. I would stay away from the mosaic (too busy) and use a larger format tile. The suggested 3x10 would be great or even a very large subway style tile such as 12x24 in either the lighter gray or another color that occurs in the granite and works with the cabinets. Ann Sacks is always a great source for beautiful tile. Good luck!
