I have been very fortunate to have been working with Frank Hodge of F.D. Hodge Interiors for the past four years. He has an amazing eye and impeccable taste when it comes to interior design. Frank is one of the best designers around. I've worked with him over the past 5 years to remodel several rooms in my home. Frank always brings fresh ideas, and the results are consistently outstanding. He is willing to listen to my ideas and works hard to match his designs to my taste (and budget!). Because of Frank I am proud to say that my home is truly a showplace, yet we live here comfortably every day. There is no one else I would consider working with when it comes to interior design.

Excellent taste...extremely skillful at putting together rooms that are elegant, light, liveable and won't look dated in five years. There's nothing gimmicky about his rooms, just beautiful furniture, fabrics and accessories put together in a restful, calm style. He has a great eye for superior craftsmanship and a vast knowledge of decorating sources and techniques. I've worked with Mr. Hodge several times now and trust him implicitly. Fifteen years ago, on our second project, he found upholstery fabric that I loved so much I couldn't bear to replace it when it started to tatter after years of heavy use (the fabric had since been discontinued, of course). Frank has now helped me find new fabric that I think I may love even more, and he's been extremely patient with me during the process. He works quickly, keeps to budgets and--very important to me--is a total pleasure to work with (i.e. a lot of fun).

Frank has helped me with two full rooms in my house - living room and family room - as well as choosing paint colors and wall paper for other spaces. He is amazing. Not only is Frank's taste impeccable, he is incredibly hardworking, honest and efficient. He has saved me an enormous amount of time over the years. He knows my taste now and can handle any need I have on short notice. His work tends toward sophisticated spaces with light colors but I'm grateful he's been just as capable of working with my bright color palette and more easy, comfortable spaces in our home. We have 3 young children and Frank has always been willing to work with me on finding durable fabrics, reasonably priced furniture and colors that won't show dirt. Someday I'll have him do a real FD Hodge room for me and I won't let any of my dirty people in there to ruin it!
