Penner and Assoc designed and managed the construction for a complete remodel of a historic home. They listened to our needs, proposed innovative design solutions and we ended up with exactly the house we wanted. They were especially valuable during the construction phase. The documents they produced were extremely detailed, and their management of our contractor was aggressive but fair. I was also pleased with their responsiveness throughout the project- I wouldn't do another major project without them.

We hired Penner & Associates to design & build a garage - which turned into a integral garage and addition to our house. They designed a garage that we can fit two cars in (end to end) and a beautiful addition to the house that is one large family room, a bathroom, and space for laundry (before this addition neither of these were located on the first floor). The family room is a great space with lots of windows, 10 foot glass doors, and two sky lights. Penner & Associates worked with us throughout the whole process and were very accommodating to all of requests - really trying to make it exactly how we wanted. The team helped to oversee the general contractor to make sure everything was done as they designed and intended - which was a huge relief on our part.

We used Roy Penner on a complete remodeling of our home 15 years ago and could not have been more pleased. Roy is very creative and gave us wonderful ideas and plans, and the results were striking and very satisfying to us. He is easy to work with and very knowledgeable. We are now working with him and his colleagues on a complete makeover of a coop apartment we purchased. Again, our experience has been outstanding. Penner and Associates not only gave us ideas and incorporated our ideas into a great overall plan, but have been active in overseeing the progress of the work. We give Roy and his staff the highest grades in all the services they have provided to us on both projects.
