Soudi Amini Design

This is my first time working with an interior designer. It was overwhelming for me because I wanted everything perfect. Soudi is very patient, professional and knowledgeable at what she does. The end result was awesome. I’ll continue to work with Soudi. I’m hoping she could decorate my entire home. She is the best. I highly recommend her!

We hired Soudi to stage our house for sale. She worked extremely hard and put lots of extra hours into staging the entire house and not just those for which furniture was provided. As a result the sales brochure appeals to a younger demographic than the one we were previously targeting and that was our goal. I would recommend her for any design project.

Soudi’s advice is especially helpful on both small decorating decisions as well as complete renovations. She is able to change from highly decorative to simplified modern style based on client’s wishes. She has helped me and others whose tastes are evolving from strictly traditional to a more eclectic and modern style. And she uses and rearranges existing furniture in newly creative ways.

Soudi Amini is a true tour de force in the design world. She addressed my personal needs and transformed my living room into a Elle Decor worthy magazine spread and she came in under budget!!! I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for true talent and outstanding professionalism.

Soudi Amini served as my project manager, architect and designer who transformed a screened porch into a family room with a gas fireplace. The new room is stunning, comfortable and functional. I hired Soudi Amini Designs to redo my living room, dining room and kitchen. Soudi was very intuitive about translating my needs and wishes effectively into the final design concept. I loved her use of colors and how sensitive she was to the budget my husband and I had for specific elements. I watched the design evolve from the design concept to the finish gracefully. I got to choose how much or how little I was involved in every decision. More involvement when I had time and less active involvement when I didn't. Her warmth and personality mixed with her efficiency was the icing on the cake. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.

Soudi has worked with me for many years, helping me to redesign almost every room in my house. Her expertise includes not only furniture selection and placement but all design elements such as tiling, window treatments, paint color selection and floor covering. She works effectively with our contractors and no detail is out of her range. Not only does she help with new purchases, but she rearranges existing pieces into one great design. I happen to like contemporary but Soudi's vision transforms all styles. Soudi has all the requirements for being a great designer -- she is always getting the color and scale right as well as adding balance, texture, etc. But for me, once I was comfortable with her capabilities, it was her ability and willingness to listen and understand what I wanted and then taking me in a slightly different direction, greatly improving the whole look and, importantly, my own psyche. She respected my limits on cost and incorporated the "things" that were important to me. I have worked with Soudi over ten years on projects as small as my entryway to now completely remodeling my 3200 square foot condo in Florida, using her expertise as an architect as well as an interior designer . This is a big project and her attention to detail is amazing as well as her ability to communicate with the contractors and vast knowledge of building accessibility ADA ( Americans with Disabilities Act) Code. One of her important talents is problem solving, considering both functionality and aesthetics to create a positive space . For example, she cleverly made a very challenging space in a tiny laundry room that was dominated by a hot water heater that stood 3' off the floor both usable and pretty by designing attractive, movable cabinets with screened doors to enclose (hide) the heater and keep it accessible. Soudi has met the deadlines and stayed well within budget, but most of all, the end project is beautiful.
