Classically Modern Renovation - 218 Shippan Point
This was a renovation where the client had decided that instead of purchasing a new home to accommodate her growing family, she would rather renovate her existing home and add an extension. The project included a bar area in the family room contemporary custom cabinets, complete kitchen renovation, powder room renovation, reflooring of the entire ground floor, new paint and fixtures and an extension to the family room. The client was in love with both contemporary and modern design, so a synergy of both elements were created to realize the final transformation.
Sparsely spread through-out the addition and renovation were furniture elements that provide pops of subtle color that teased visual senses and enhanced the energy of the spaces. Careful furniture selection ensured that the additional luxurious elements were durable and could withstand a household of young individuals and little feet without compromising on aesthetic quality.
