“Ignition” is that spark of inspiration, that moment when ideas come together and design solutions are born. At Ignition Architecture, we enjoy the challenge of examining our client's goals, budget and site conditions to devise an innovative and responsive design solution that surpasses our client's preconceptions! Ignition Architecture is a boutique design firm that was founded by Veronica Hinkley-Reck in 2005 to offer full architectural and interior design services. We enjoy tailoring unique warm, green modern designs to our residential client's specific needs and dreams. Our extensive portfolio of includes projects ranging from small residential additions to large multifamily projects - many of which are LEED certified or GreenPoint-rated. Our work has been published in Builder Magazine, the San Francisco Chronicle, and Veronica has been an invited panelist at the annual Dwell on Design conference. The design and construction process is fun - and the result should be a home that the exceeds our client's imagination! To do this we value a collaborative design process, in which our clients are actively involved. We illuminate the design process by guiding our clients through conceptual visualization using evocative 3D modeling and inspirational material board pallets. We also use a range of helpful web-based tools that help keep our projects well-organized and our clients in the loop and up to speed. While client engagement is necessary during design, we relieve the burden of approvals and construction. Our experienced team puts our client’s minds at ease by navigating complex planning and building approvals in many SF Bay Area jurisdictions, and directly coordinating with the contractor in order to deftly manage construction issues. We have two Bay Area offices to serve you, our San Francisco office in Dogpatch and our East Bay office in downtown Alameda.
