I called Marie for help with the windows in my sun room. Marie asked about my expectations and arrived with books of beautiful fabrics. She spent time going through them with me and guiding me towards what turned out to be far above what I had hoped for. I was so impressed that I asked her to put together throw pillows for the chairs. I left the choices entirely up to her. My confidence in her was well founded. The sun room has been totally transformed. My enthusiasm was bolstered and I asked her to work on my dining room with me. Again, she showed up with great choices and the finished product was beautiful. I hosted a dozen people for Christmas dinner and they were all awed by my gorgeous dining room. I look forward to being able to work with Marie again. I can't say enough good things about her.

During the spring of 2015 my wife and I renovated our bedroom. We had fresh paint, new floors and a new color scheme. The window treatments were the only thing remaining. I was frozen…I lacked skill and confidence to make a good choice. Touring the rest of my house was evidence of prior bad choices. Simple curtains and or box store shades. The shades from the “box stores” showed significant wear and tear after only three years and were poorly installed (by me) so they never really looked great. Here was my unprofessional solution to give us privacy at night. That’s right, my temporary solution was fitted bed sheets. I knew I wanted the best – Hunter Douglas window treatments and I knew I needed a professional. I contacted Marie after looking at some photos on her facebook page. She came and took a look at the project. She took in all the details of the room and asked lots of questions. We looked at samples from Hunter Douglas and made some decisions. Within a week Marie delivered sample materials and started creating the vision for the finished product. After I made my choice on fabric Marie was able to send me some computer generated images of what the finish product would look like. Marie took lots of time and worked with me around keeping the project on budget and she was very accommodating in order to complete the project as quickly as possible. I could not be happier with the finished product. We love our new room! Having the windows professionally done makes all the other details of the room worth the time and effort. The installers were skilled and really knew the product. The Silhouette shades work perfectly every time and soften incoming sunlight and provide privacy as needed. Marie’s valences were expertly made. Care and effort when into each cut and stitch. The placement of the window treatments filled some of the dead space between the top of the window and the ceiling. Our room is now perfect for us. Marie was able to bring it all together for us. I highly recommend Marie. Her ideas, precision and expertise are second to none.

I hired Marie to do window treatments for my entire 3 bedroom condo. She was great. She had wonderful ideas and suggestions for colors and types of window treatments, from wood blinds to duette honeycomb shades. She immediately got an idea of what I like and geared her suggestions towards my tastes. I placed the order and it was done on time with no problems. The installation was also very professionally done. I would definitely recommend her.

When she brought swatch books to select fabric, she brought ones that contained exactly color and style selections that were appropriate for me, indicating to me how closely she paid attention. She was also sensitive to my budget and style preferences. At no time did I feel pressured to do more than I wanted. She also made excellent suggestions along the way. I will definitely be hiring her again as I continue to update my decorating.

Beautiful work ! Marie creates custom draperies that enhance your living space.. We had draperies done for several rooms and were very pleased with the quality of the work. She also provides design services to help you complete the look of the rooms. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a custom job.
