Thank you! We actually switched from small tiles (the grey/tan) to larger subway -- my husband thought two sets of small might be too busy! I posted another help link now! Thank you for all your help though! We do have to move on to hardware and light fixtures :)

I like it too - looks like the stacked stone has a lot of color uniformity in the same base color as the granite, so that's why it works, in my opinion.

Just doing a small horizontal accent strip in the 1x1 mosaics? That will look cool and bring some color in.

I love the mosaic! This would really pep up the granite and help accent the cabinet panels/repeat the square/bevelled edges.
