Since your brick has a pink undertone, with some lovely deep brown in it, I would select a warm gray. I wouldn't think high contrast with blue that might make my brick look more salmon-y would be ideal. these are terrific with all the tones in your brick . . one thing is to go to a deeper shade / closer to the brick in depth of color so the house reads as one no matter what shade you consider. When that is outside, and in doubt, go one tone deeper -
Another detail you might capture as you do your siding - wooden brackets under the overhang at key transition points of the siding above (at each end and then where the section transitions can add more of the charm that the shake is going to give you. I would like to see trim around all the windows be the same. Finally, lighten up the entry door so it reads out with contrast, and consider adding a federal style capital trim over the door . . a red front door (with the undertone of the brick - more pink red- may be your best bet. ) If you need a neutral light to work with both trim/ siding and brick / try senora gray .
