I have plumbing issues in my guest bathroom, hence an opportunity to remodel! It is small 60" by 80". The tub is along one side with the sink,then toilet on the other. The toilet is on the same side of the room as the tub controls making putting a door next to the controls difficult since it would swing I to the toilet.
I am converting the tub to a shower, but the width is minimum, 28-30. Do you ever put the shower head on the long wall in rowdier to shampoo your hair without hitting your elbows?
If I did that, could put in a stationary piece of glass for 42 inches leaving a 18 inch opening, or a 36 inch panel with a 24 inch opening?
The opening would be across from the toilet and help a lot space wise - it is the minimum 22" clearance from front of toilet to bathtub. The shower head would spray against the glass wall, but since this is a guest bath clean up is not as much of an issue. I just don't want water in the bathroom!
