Try moving the table 90 degrees. Right now the table is not centered to the chandelier.

I would put a larger horizontal mirror or colorful painting where your oval mirror is and add a nice light, bright colored rug under the table and chairs...maybe a colored runner on the table too. I like Melissa's suggestion of putting the table sideways also.

If you want to get a little daring, you could paint the recessed cove a different color to match a color in a painting on the opposite wall....it could pull the room together nicely! Let us know what you decide to do!

You might add a white-painted chair rail to break up all the solid-color areas of the walls.
