Love that granite! Mosaic looks like a good color, do you want the busy look of the small pieces? Maybe get some samples of larger subway tiles and see the comparison?

i was just looking at backsplash tile today at lowes and i saw this concrete subway tile with beveled edges. it looked cool, but maybe its too dark? thought the gray tone would look nice with your beautiful granite and it is not so busy so it wouldnt compete with the countertop.

The first one looks like it works, but I'd lay the tiles on top of the granite in as bright a light as possible to make sure the cream colors are the same tone.
