how about a 4 sided framed plantation shutter with frame wall to wall to make your window look bigger also like the window seat idea mainly to fill in some of the depth. Also a warm bright satin or semi gloss paint perhaps a soft yellow to help brighten the area tough to tell without seeing the floor and rest

Window seats. Do beautiful molding in the front. Get some custom cushions for the top that are reversible and easy to wash. Do custom shades/curtains. With decorative pillows for bed. To tie in everything. I always wanted a window like this. Good luck

I would have a desk in one and a makeup table in the other. Make them useful.

Make them unique how about one female one male with the center wall common color or wall paper? Bringing it all together as two people.

I would put two identical furniture pieces with drawers... A large nightstand? Or a small dresser?
On top, I would get two identical colorful vases and fill them with a few branches.
Window benches are a good storage solution but expensive to build.
