Farm table placement.

We are building our home. I wanted thoughts on where to place our 10 person farm table so our electrition can place our lighting above. Our dining is open concept. Kitchen, dining then family room. Should our farm table be in the middle of the room or pushed back a little?

abigail....It's hard to offer an opinion without knowing dimensions or seeing photos or floor plans. Perhaps make a "sample table" out of cardboard, and see how it impacts traffic flow and furniture placement?
