I have metal (fairly new) awnings on three sides of my home. Since temps in summer here get into triple digits, they've been a blessing. I've never had them before, was wondering how to clean the grooves (channels?) out best so water runs freely.

Please keep in mind I'm in a state with a severe drought, I can't flush them with water. Should I use a blower? They are filled with moss and tree leaves. The previous owner never cleaned them or the downspouts.
