Pool pavilion?

At the far end of the picture, past the pool is an open space ( about 14 x 28 ft). Thinking of an open pavilion with a fire pit underneath, centered off the pool) maybe with a pergola coming off with a bar and outdoor kitchen area. Any thoughts or other ideas are welcome. Thanks!

I like the plans you have mentioned so far, and what you're trying to do. To give you some better more specific answers; though, I think it will help to know how you are planning to use this new outdoor living space. What are you planning on doing under the pavilion and pergola? Is the Fireplace going to be gas, or is it going to be wood? How are you planning on venting the fireplace? Are you planning on the kitchen to be a fully functional kitchen?
