I find the the second one heavy looking for the space, the first one just way too busy

HATE the first one, don't love the other two. I'm sure there are interesting ceilings out there that I would love, just none of these. I would like the second one without the lighting box.

the first two are just way over done.

The first example is so in your face, the second example should have just stopped with the beams, adding the light box was not a good decision. So much of design is knowing when to show restraint, something that is lacking in the first two choices. The third is all right, but the room lacks personality.

All great designs, the second is my favorite!

I have wallpapered ceilings and they look remarkably good

They are all too heavy and busy, gives me a head ache.

I like the more intercut design of the first one. though I do think it is a bit heavy with the size of the molding used.
the second one I like verry much with the warm pannaling. The only issue I have with it is I'm not completely sold on the placement of the middle piece.
The third one is classy and sleek, while still having a some what intercut design. it is also verry versatile in terms of period design use.

In the third picture if I was lying in that bed I would think I am in a casket.

I dislike ceilings in homes that are anything but white.
