Consider a yellow front door for your home. More of a soft or weathered yellow rather than a bright yellow. Something like the inspiration pics below.

I love the gray you selected and all the white trim too. Your home looks terrific!

I like a blue with it, the blue just needs to be darker, right now it is a bit too light.

A high gloss lacquer red or black would be my first choice if your home is more traditional or formal inside.. However if you are more casual why not try something fun and bold such as orange, cobalt blue or emerald green! This should be exciting for you... The front door is the first impression and should speak to who you are. Look up what door colors mean.. you will find something that resonates with your personality. Enjoy!

    I just love this color!

Thankfully you have a wonderful gray that you can ultimately use any color that sets your heart racing with joy! We have a pale green house (former owners choice in vinyl siding). When we purchased it the front door was bright red! Icky! That was one of the first things I changed. The color of the siding and the door just said to me "When we grow up, we want to be Christmas colors." ;-) The two tones really fought with each other. But like I say, with your gray siding and crisp white trim, you can literally go any direction in color your heart desires. How wonderful!

HI -- One of the colors I like a lot right now is "Prairie Lilly " by Benjamin Moore . Benjamin Moore's color of the year is "Breath of Fresh Air " and another color I think is very classy is "Polo Blue " Your house is adorable !

You could paint your door royal blue, light or dark yellow, charcoal, spa blue, or any shade of red. The gray is very versatile and any one of those would look spectacular. In fact, could you please share what brand and color your gray paint is? I may paint my cape cod the same shade! Thanks!

I would pick a dark brown wood (reclaimed or antique/rustic looking) front door. Perhaps one with black hardware.

bright clear red or lemon yellow!

Black with brass accents ( doorknocker etc) .
Use the front door as a preface to your interior. What accent color is used in your entry or front room? Choose a shade in that color family.

Great house! I was in a similar predicament and found the best way to test was to google the colors suggested and then use Paint to impose that color on the photo of your home. Good luck! (I like red and yellow as well)

A gray home in our neighborhood has the yellow door & black shutters. I love it!

I love the current understated blue, perhaps a fresh coat, a tad bit deeper, and some larger lanterns.

Always love this color door--would look great with grey siding.

I like the blue one the best. I think it just needs a good coat of paint, possibly one shade bluer to bring it out from the gray a bit more.

Black door and if you can add black shutters, that would be really nice. Also large coach lights on either side of door. You could add a bench under the windows on the left.

    dark brick red

    Sooo… What did you pick?

The yellow is my favorite. My front door is a glossy bright red because my bricks are a light shade of red with black and ivory splashes. I adore it but a lot of people have now told me it's bad luck to paint your door red but didn't explain why, anyone know?

I am actually considering this color for my gray house.

    Don't paint.

Invest in a classy real wood door.

Harpsiel what paint app are you using to see all these door colors?

I was probably using The Gimp, but Photoshop would also work. Select the existing door, desaturate, then colorize and adjust the color hue and saturation.

I went with a red color for my gray house with black shutters. Message me if you want to know the color.

Beautiful! Please tell me which color red and where to get it. Thanks!
