Blues, greys, blue greys, cool greys would look very nice with the blue velvet.

Pale gray or light blue for the loveseat or chairs will look nice. Silver /crystal accents.

I'm having a custom sofa done in blue velvet and these are my coordinating colors. The plaid is for a chair and a half and the material with blue leaves and flowers is my drapes. The paint will be Benjamin Moore Wythe blue (looks more greenish than blue)
