My house is a 1940's cape cod that has been remuddled. The addition on the rear of the house has a narrow deck and a canopy that helps with the full south sun exposure. The narrow screened porch on the opposite end of the house had a deck that was removed. The a/c unit for the house is in the corner hiding behind landscaping, and it is not possible to move it. We would like to connect the outdoor spaces and have a larger gathering area. Suggestions, please!
