I am in the process of trying to purchase seating for my living room, and was wondering if I could do a sectional in the space. I am putting a wall mount tv and media cabinet on the only available open wall space and wanted to have ample seating. I found a super comfy leather sectional that seems like it will fit, but because of the open floor plan and the fireplace location, I wanted to see if it would be ok the way I have it laid out? The section closest to the fireplace is a chaise, that won't obstruct the fireplace, because it doesn't have a long arm. The side facing the room opening has a 35-inch high back. This is an open space that is attached to the kitchen and eat-in breakfast area. I was curious if the back of the couch would be ok to see from the open kitchen? Not sure why, but I'm having a mental block trying to figure out furniture placement for this room!! I would so appreciate opinions! Thanks so much!
