I have entered a request to Overstock to notify me if it comes available. Also will talk to local interior designer this weekend to see if she can find it. I will let you know if I find it.

Beverly, if you had just called it "tacky", I might have thought you were just having a bit of fun. ( bridles, saddles, bits = tack ) But since you said "kitschy and tacky", it does just come across as rude and condescending.

Or, how about a slightly different tack (no kitsch, haha), and incorporating a motif using colours popular in horse blankets? The classic is the famous Baker blanket (muted plaid in beige and black), or an even older design, the Witney blanket.

I have no idea whether those styles are available as carpets, but I love that you're being creative about incorporating an equestrian theme!

Ohhhhhh, that etsy hooked rug that emilie just linked is adorable. I think I'd hang that in the kitchen so I could smile at it every day.
