Need help with deco in den

OK I have pics attached of my wall in my den ....I have a very nice shelve in the middle of two chairs, my question is can I put another shelf (just like this one) just next to it. My husband is an big sports fan so we have just installed this big flat screen just above the fireplace. I would like to add the second shelf to put to equipment on the bottom shelves. OMGoodness then what do I do with the two chairs. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. TU
