I think this would not be good for a tub backsplash , the tin needs to be installed with waterproofing in the joints and then how do you want to attach it to the wall? If with screws they will have to be water proofed around each one all in all bad idea, maybe use it on the wall behind the toilet like a piece of art. Sort of like in this pic.
