This looks so much like Carra Marble,am I wrong?

I also wanted to know if this stains like Cara or does it etch? I am hoping to have white cabinets and trying to decide on whie or black counter tops.

Thank you so very much for the information. I want that Carra look,and this seems to be the best option without worrying about staining and etching. I live in Georgia so I hope I can find it. You are so kind to give me the information.

Bianco Romano is a granite, so it won't etch like marble. Granites are naturally stain resistant, but a good sealer should be applied every 2-5 years to enhance the protection. This is definitely a much easier care stone than Carrara marble. It's a fairly common stone in these parts (Pacific NW). Call some local stone yards or fabricators to check for availability in your area.
