Help for my living room

Please help me, I am decorating challenged, my house is completely blank because I cant make a decision! I see things I like but don't know how to put it all together! My husband bought a dark brown corduroy microfiber sectional and we have dark brown rustic tables, and that's it. I need pictures on the wall, I need color added in because everything is drab brown. Can you help me? give me some ideas on what I can add to make my living room look pretty? I have an almost 11 month old son, he has a gated off play area behind my couch. Any advice is greatly appreciated
