Love the lighter colors. It all coordinates really well. Good Job!

I actually like both rooms as well. I would like to see some more of the soft blue denim type color added to lighter living room. I see some of that color in the lamp on the left, and in the bowl on the coffee table. Maybe add a rug, some pillows, and change out the orange picture on the wall. More of that same color would increase the feeling of ease, and richness.

Both rooms are very nice. I actually like the original room better with very minor changes. I would have removed the matching leather ottoman and updated the coffee table. A more streamlined sectional sofa would have further updated the style while keeping the same furniture layout.
